The Official Rounds 2&3 2013 NFL Draft Thread

I happen to be worried about the WR position.
Given the amount of quality left on the board, I am not. I have every faith some WRs of quality will still be available at the Patriots selection in the 4th round.

Not a WR but they have that option in 2 picks. I love the Collins pick, there's the pass rusher that they needed, and it adds to their ability to change up their defensive fronts from 3-4 to 4-3. I really want k. Allen or M. Wheaton with 59. It is going to get frustrating if they pass it by again.

What -- for taking smart drugs?

Yeah, that must be it. Baltimore needs a safety and a MLB, and they go straight for their targets. NE needs a WR and a safety, and they head straight for an outside linebacker.

I dont see Bill trading down anymore, looks like he'll use all the picks remaining. Possibly he'll trade the later ones for picks next year.

Still a decent chance the Patriots don't go WR here, in my opinion

we will see

This was already referenced but just to highlight:

SackSEER likes Jamie Collins a lot. Collins has a SackSEER Rating of 97.7 percent, which means that, when not controlling for draft position, Collins is SackSEER’s eighth-favorite prospect ever. Even after controlling for projected draft position, SackSEER favors Collins to collect more sacks than probable first-round picks Jarvis Jones and Dion Jordan, as well as all of the edge rushers who were available in the 2012 NFL Draft.

I'll take that.

I am not embarrassed to say that I would like Allen

It's a great selection - could be Ray's long-term successor.
There's the very real possibility that the Ravens 2013 D will be considerably better than the Ravens 2012 D.

How would react to trading Mallett after draft and getting Barkley with our 2nd 3rd round pick?

Looks like the Patriots have gone for an athletic, pass rushing DE/OLB. Jamie Collins physical numbers are ridiculous. I'm at ease with that.

last year i loved Bequette....

The Patriots didn't need a pass rusher?

Amazing measurables, plus we needed a cover LB, BUT, this looks like a huge reach for a possible workout warrior. Nobody had him rated higher than 4th round.[/QUOTE

Nobody?

.@BobMcGinn Had a second-round grade on Collins, FWIW.

Still a lot of good WRs on the board, I would be fine with another trade down 10 spots or so.

Ironically, DJ Swearinger is a major trash talker.

Jesse Williams wouldn't surprise me. Could always trade back up if there's a run on WRs.

if they go D again...there will still be solid WRs there when they pick again
