Would you be happy if you came out of retirement only to be traded to the Jets?
Would anyone (excpet Mangini) be shocked if this guy worked with the Jets for a week or two then re-retired, saying he'd had another change of heart? That would be sweet!!
This was a really poor decision on his part. He is a country boy from Mississippi going to live/play in the Big Apple. He did not even pick a playoff contender.
You think he looks unhappy now wait till he screws a couple of games up and the media schreads him like a wood chipper. :singing::singing::singing:He doesnt look happy...must have just realized that New England is in the AFC east.
He picked the money.. that is what is important to him.
No, He turned down $20 Mil - He picked his obsession, Football.
He's in a tough spot, and perhaps not completely of his choosing, to play for 1 of the 2 teams that Green Bay would deal with - Jets and TB and we all knew there was no freaking way that Green Bay Mgt. was going to allow Farve to march into Lambeau in a few months in a different uniform.
Anyway, I think it's going to go poorly, but I have always respected Farve the football player - Farve the man, I don't know enough about to respect.
I could see that...but man, I really wanna see the Jets fans hopes and dreams crushed in week 2.
