I think the last two weeks have shown that we have a lot of problems defensively. If there's a "blueprint" for beating us, that's where it is. I'm onboard with those people who say our offense is and will be fine. This weekend, with the short rest and up against a good team, had the potential to be the "big loss" game. Thanks to the quote, the Patriots are going to be as prepared as they can be against a playoff team in a playoff atmosphere. That's why I think this is going to be a game that tells us a lot about who the Patriots will be going into the postseason.

This isn't just "the next game".

I disagree. I think the '04 Steelers were one of the toughest teams I'd seen. I just think they flamed out at the wrong time. The Pats may need a breather. If they lose, that pressure (which they're currently denying) of going undefeated is gone. They may lose twice before they end of the season. I still don't think it means much.

I monitored this MB during the Ravens game on Monday (at work). They were horrible fans (not all of them) and I was shocked. Everytime something went wrong I read "we suck" in some way. I couldn't believe it.

Some of them were chill, but getting PO'd at all the negativety.

Those aren't Pats fans. They are fans of other teams pretending they are Pats fans. 90% of the negative comments are from 2 "fans". If you notice those two will say not one positive thing....they won't say who they really root for but it is obvious they are not fans of the Patriots

He's a bruiser and he'll be fairly well known before too long. That said, I wouldn't be suprised if he's the first player to be ejected for a helmet to helmet. He's evil.

I don't know man. There was a lot of praying too. They were Pats fans (for how long I don't know), but they had no confidence in their team.

No, this doesn't excite Steeler fans one bit. Most educated fans, Steelers or otherwise, know that all the pre-game garbage goes out the window when the game starts. It has no impact on the game itself, just makes you look foolish after the game if you lose. The Pats shouldn't feel special though, Smith made similar comments last week before the Cinci game. He doesn't discriminate.
