the refs, once again, favor the Colts. I counted at least 4 times the colts were holding with no call...and the calls that were made in their favor were suspect. It is getting out of hand.

I'm watching the Indy Jacks game and I swear that crowd noise sounds fake as heck.
It sounded like the sound had some distortion in it.
Could Napolian be back to his old tricks again?

Sounds fake and had distortion? Since you weren't at the game I'm guessing you are judging this based on TV sound, right?

All the fans are sitting, yet it sounds like it's a 3rd down every play.

There is this annoying habit at the dome of sitting down at times. I guess it's to be polite to those behind you that don't want to stand. I have been asked several times to sit down. It bugs me, but oh well. But since when do you have to stand to yell. I yell nearly every play when the other team has the ball, regardless of whether I'm sitting or standing.

I was thinking the same thing about the sound. Even the commentators have mentioned it a few times as well as doing a bit on how the sound is almost silent when the Colts are on O and then when Jax are on O is really loud.

Why does this surprise anyone? When the other team has the ball you yell your head off and you don't make a peep when your team has the ball. That's Home Fan 101.

The Colts DO cheat with fake piped in crowd noise, wasn't there a pro a few weeks ago on all the news stations talking about how they admitted to using fake noise?

Nope. One photographer said yellow jacket security guard told him so.

How can you say it sounds fake if you are not there? I know people complain about how quiet the Razor is, but that doesn't mean a loud stadium has to be fake.

Was totally thinking the same thing during the game. It goes very very loud and once the play is made it abrupty goes silent. Very strange!

just think about how it is when YOU attend games and then compare that to the sudden drop in volume at the Dome....nowhere else in the league is there such a clear cut dichotomy....I know when we're screaming at games and the play is over we scream even louder right after the play is done....but in Indy???...just a 200% drop in volume
immediately....the sound is DEFINITELY piped in, the league knows it, Goodell knows it...yet the "Polian rules" remain in effect for every single home game the Colts play...once again today...a STARK contrast between what was called on the Jags and the piddling little nothing calls the zebras made on the Colts.

Two things. One, being at the games I don't hear a sharp drop. If there is one on TV, that could be the network riding the sound levels. I don't know if CBS does, but FOX sure does. Two, the fans at the dome yell more before the play than during it. The purpose of yelling is to disrupt the play calling/audibles and the snap count. After the snap there really isn't a reason to yell until the play is over.

Come on IndyColt. Have you listened to the audio of the game where the sound started skipping? The opposing NFL teams have been saying they could hear the crowd noise coming through the intercom and on live TV no less, the Colts are finally caught and absolutely nothing is done?

I wish the league had the balls to stand up to the Colts but since Peyton has become the official spokesman and face of the NFL.....no one in the league office is going to question the organization or the QB that brings truckloads of money to the NFL.

CBS said that was in the audio truck. Nobody (outside of Bob Kraft) heard it inside.

Did you watch the Big 12 Championship game Saturday night? They had a similar issue and the announcers even mentioned it.

I attended the game today, was also on hand versus KC. Crowd was loude today than 2 weeks ago, BUT, no where NEAR AFCCG level, not even close. I can GUARANTEE you no piped in noise, sorry:snob:

I noticed it was consistently the loudest at the begining. I think a lot of that was due to the previous claims by Vic and the fans being riled up.

Every time people mention anything to do with pumped in sound the fans at the dome take it personally. The fans take it as an insult the people think we can't be loud on our own and yell their arses off to prove it. I know I do.

Nobody is a true football fan if they're not a Pats fan...

They kicked our ass (yes I admit it) for two (correct me if I'm wrong) playoff games,saying "we're a soft team...we can't play in the elements" ,"Manning choked"...ect... and any defense we put up for our team fell on deaf ears....
Fast Forward to the AFCCG... (2006) In our nice warm Dome , the Colts rally back to win , & all we hear is but,but ,but ....

Ask your Pats folk who were there that day whether we pipe in noise or not .
