A GREAT second preseason game for most

Is anybody saying the team is crap and has no chance in the regular season? What it's not OK to critcize your favorite team anymore. I take it you thought Brady and the line looked great.

Me and a few others are criticizing the performances of the past few weeks because we feel the team can get better. But most here just want to look the other way, believing that the performances we've seen the past two weeks is great football.

I think it's really not difficult to notice I was being glib.

In particular, I was responding to this statement:

So I take it you'd be happy with 16 more games like this? I guess you're just happy with getting by.

Take the goggles off. Brady isn't looking good and the offensive line isn't looking good, not as good as they can look. It doesn't matter if Maroney and Moss aren't there. If Brady and the line fail, we fail.

Talk about an overreaction.

Whenever Brady gets hit a lot, it makes everyone nervous and freak out a little. At least I know I do. Improved OL play next time will make me much happier. Team health, and Brady's health in particular, is really the only thing I am concerned about during the preseason. So overall poor play, sloppy play doesn't worry me right now, poor play by the OL does because it puts Brady at risk. So here's hoping for some improvement next game.

This is a good summary of the problem with our team in general since 2002.

We win superbowls with sloppy offense, quite frankly. By a field goal, which is fine with me.

The problem is that Brady's protection has been substandard for a long time and I don't see a single indication that this year will be different.

We have the same guys on the O-Line, and a couple more youngsters of average pedigree to work into the mix. I hope the OL plays more consistently this year and takes some pressure off Brady, but as of yet I don't have a reason why that will be the case, so I will have to see what the regular season brings.

The problem is that the O-Line is missing one key ingredient, Daniel

Graham. He helped out when things got tough. Hopefully, Kyle Brady

will be ready soon to help relieve some of the pressure.

When you have to rely on a TE to help with pass protection on a regular basis its time to look for a top offensive lineman in the draft or in FA.

A TE should never hide or cover up the lack of production from an offensive line.

First, we agree with regard with our defense.

Please remind me of the score and stats when the starting offense left the field. The OL did NOT do a good job last night.

Irrationally exuberant, mg !

I realize that the production crew, cameramen, and announcers screwed up the presentation
... but you were watching a whole different ballgame.
