Fraudell is just trying to reinforce his story in the court of public opinion. It's a gherbals thing.

Roger Goodell, aka Joseph Gerbilballs! ;)

That is why I think Brady needs to announce his retirement and go after the NFL* and Goodell in a court of law.

It will help Brady concentrate on the task at hand and avoid retribution from the NFL*.

Ideally he can unretire later.
Yea. However the team would get hammered with the cap hit.

I still dont understand how the threat of a lawsuit, that according to legal experts Brady would win, is not leverage for a deal. It looks like this battle in court is basically over however, if brady agrees not to sue wouldnt that be worth knocking a few games off the suspension? if all the owners care about is money than why wouldnt the threat of 250 to 300 m be enough of a reason to deal. Granted, I dont want him to accept any sort of suspension but the reality is setting in that he will be sitting out.

at this point I don't want brady to take a deal.

I want him to sue the NFL and goodell for a billion dollars(Career earnings lost, Public opinion lost, Potential sponsor money lost) Brady is the michael jordan of the NFL. Hes the GOAT. So a billion to me, isn't out of the realm of possibility.

You know what would get goodell fired pretty quick? Losing a billion dollar defamation case. Burn this ***** to the ground.

This is why i switched off 'auto correct' ten minutes ago. I went back to another post and saw that auto correct had change fraudell to fraud elk, which obviously makes no sense.

Is Goodell trying to goad Brady into blowing a fuse and launching into an anti-Goodell rant that will then invite more punishment for conduct detrimental? To protect te integriteh?

That's a good point, and one that I hadn't considered. Maybe Miguel or someone knowledgeable about the Cap can chime in.

We do know that Brady redid his contract last year, and reportedly, it was done at least partially, with Defamegate penalties in mind.

How would unretiring affect things as well?

Goodell and the league office...

oh really? I didn't know that

no wait....I do know that because you've repeated yourself for about the 50 thousandth time

tell me again.....how do you feel about bob kraft????? just in case I missed something

I want to try a pair of FOTM shoes on

I can tell you Bob Kraft probably doesn't have the grammar and prose of a 3 year old with autism. So at least he has you beat on that front. You really should get off his nuts. I said "in the organization" and didn't specifically mention him by name this time around. But if that makes you butthurt and/or mad, feel free to throw me on ignore whenever.

I still like Gerbilballs! Autocorrect, better serendipity through technology! :D

Not 100% sure as maybe there is fine print, loopholes or ways to reduce or accelerate the hit in his contract due to injury or otherwise but if TB12 retired, the team would experience some kind of cap hit regardless. If he came back under a new contract, I'm pretty sure there would be a new cap hit and the old one would still be there.

NFL wanted this fight from the beginning. They couldn’t do a high profile case like this with a domestic violence case because that would make it seem like they approve of battery. Take down the QB from a team the jets i mean the league office hates the coach of for something trivial and stupid however it gets the NFL to the result they knew they would get after D Smith laid down and it took it during labor negotiations

I'm not angry....I've gotten over this a while ago

As for ignoring you....that's childish....we disagree on this thing, big deal

Goodell gets killed on Twitter. The feed is hilarious.

Wow? If that is true, this means Brady lawsuit on the heels of that would be devastating for Goodell and the NFL.

This is huge news....

Absolutely. ****dell's victory lap will come to an abrupt end and he will go back to lying and hiding through statements rather than public interviews. If they can catch him lying during discovery, that would be sweet.

Brady won't win a lawsuit as it will be thrown out as was Vilma's based on the union contract. Jastremski and McNally have an option though.

I'm 100% on your side on this argument, especially since IllegalContact has such a track record on this subject, but c'mon...the typing was fine. This is an internet forum.
