Tom Brady walked through the locker room today without a limp.

It's worse than we thought! After such a severe high ankle sprain, there's no way he wouldn't be limping unless he'd completely lost feeling in the foot. It's probably gangrenous. I expect the amputation announcement tomorrow.

You sit them both and give them quality rest. You had the bye week sewn up.

Did I mention Tom Brady is 38 years old.........

Perhaps a great coach should tweak his overall coaching philosophy when handling a 38 year old irreplaceable piece of the team??

I know fans like you. Just as good as a chance that had Belichick sat every starter in the game against Miami and the Patriots came out flat in their first playoff game, you'd be pounding your chest and spewing absolutes about how a great coach should known about rust and timing and practice time and how two weeks is too long to sit and why didnt he play Brady more when he had the chance.

Just stop!! Jimmy G is going to make plays with his legs, plays that Brady is incapable of making and since Brady made no plays with his arm (oh that's right, nobody was open all game long against a bottom 5 pass defense  Yeah right!!! ) in that game it wouldn't have taken much for Jimmy G to have a better passing game.

How ironic for you to claim that a mobile Jimmy G would have gotten killed in that game when the immobile Tom Brady DID get killed in that game.

BTW, what we've seen since Brady has lost his binky Jules and the 2 second/5 yd passing game is that Tom Brady and this offense is pretty darn slow at making plays and that slowness has exposed this O-line and gotten the QB hurt.

What I wanted to see BEFORE the Dolphins game was Brady and Gronk out of that line-up.
Gronk is still hurting and is not the same player since coming back and 38 year old Tom Brady has taken a physical beating this season. You sit them both and give them quality rest. You had the bye week sewn up.

It should be obvious to you that the QB who processes the defensive data slower would be at an immediate disadvantage with the way the OL played on Sunday. You keep ignoring that because of your agenda.

Some sort of Frankensteinian leg swap?

Danny Amendola just walked through the locker room with an ice pack on his left knee.

At the end of the game there was a shot of Danny sitting on the bench with his pants leg rolled up and his knee swollen as hell

WTF?

Some sort of Frankensteinian leg swap?

Amendola has really been battling that injury for awhile now. I think maybe aside from Edelman, Amendola is set to benefit the most from this bye week.

Even then, I highly doubt he'll be at full force.

Injured players likely playing hampered to an unknown degree:
Jones
Hightower
Coleman
McCourty
Freeny
Chung
Ninkovich
Edelman
Amendola
LaFell
Chandler
Vollmer
Mason
Kline
Waddle
Brady

I'm sure I forgot some. If the season ends with a loss, this is the likely reason.

Amazing advances in sports medicine. a high ankle sprain takes less time than a hangnail to heal.

Not sure if this was posted in the thread, but I can't decide if Suh intended to go low or if the face mask from Cannon changed his direction. Being Suh, I'm sure he wasn't too sad about hurting Brady, regardless of how it happened.

I'd be surprised if he isn't in a walking boot, mostly for protection and also Bill will love to play this up ahead of the first playoff game.
Exactly. If it's serious they'll hide it. Otherwise they'll feed the hysteria.

I dunna know...I don't think he meant to but the problem is that Suh has not earned the benefit of the doubt.

I think he just threw himself at brady and ended up hitting his leg. Cannon just completely forgot to block him. I hope to never see Cannon play in the post season.

Doesn't look intentional to me.

The tackle was low because of Cannons face mask, but had suh got a free way he would hit Brady in the ribs for sure or worse. That had the potential to be season over, we should be glad its only a sprain.

Cannon is not an adequate swing tackle, I hope he never start a game for the Patriots again, he gives too much free ways, game 1 against the Steelers Brady got leveled in a similar play, just the other side, against the Colts too, just a few examples from the top of my head.

Why the hell that SOB Cannon still plays is beyond me.

Rodney Harrison on OM&F: Patriots ‘don’t have the weapons. … My concern is Tom [Brady] with the high ankle sprain’
“My concern is Tom with the high ankle sprain,” he said. “I know he’s a warrior. I know how tough he is. I know he’ll try to shoot it up so he can play. But it’s still a tough injury to have.

“Tom’s not a very mobile guy. High ankle sprain, it’s difficult. I played with a high ankle sprain, it’s a pain in the butt. Even after I retired, I still have some issues with it right now.”

Lack of current options is my guess, but it's time to move on this spring/summer. We'll need to spend a top 3 round pick (we have three of them) on an OT, if not double up in the mid-late rounds.

EDIT: We "should" spend a top 3 round pick on an OT, in my opinion--not necessarily "need."
