New England Chicken Littles

I have a great deal of common sense though.

Apparently not enough to understand the entirely obvious reasons for why the first half ended as it did and also why it was a very reasonable decision to kick in OT.

More to the point was the line gave him some time a lot during the game. That was the real point. If he had time to go through progressions the line was holding up decently. Credit to them.

What game were you watching? It sure as hell wasn't today's Patriots game.

Didn't say no pressure. Just said there were plenty of times Brady was tapping the ball back there. It wasn't all horrendous. Some horrendous sequences for sure but they held up and gave him some time.

Win next week and the same is still true.

Anything can happen in an NFL football game. We had opportunities within our control to try and win this game today but didn't. If we won today we could rest our guys and give them 2 weeks off to heal.

Make sense? Capiche?

You seem confused. This wasn't a playoff game, and the Patriots were not eliminated today.

Clearly this guy is delusional. He is calling the chicken littles/trolls the die hard fans and the people that are level headed about stuff and responding to chicken little/trolling posts pink hats.

Win in Miami and the #1 seed is won. Can be no worse than the #2.

No, not really. Then again, none of your posts here have really made any sense.

can we add excuse makers to the list?

I'm thinking your signature isn't big enough yet.

Except you are the one who cant explain his pov/criticism in a mature matter.

So tell us, how should they have handled the end of the first half in terms of plays. And remember you have an OL that at that point can barely give Brady 2 seconds to pass and you have a Jets D that crowds everything intermediate and doubles Gronk.

And please dont give me any of the "they have Brady" crap because thats what a 12 year old with no insight into football would say. Start actually being a constructive force in this conversation instead of a troll.

2 min left and not try to put points up? that's a chicken little stuff. never seen anything like that.

There were a lot of instances that Brady double clutched it today. Except for some massive breakdowns in the 4th quarter he had some time. I think he has trust then doesn't all in the same game.

Are you suggesting that the O line doesn't have issues? They may have given Brady enough time to throw on a few occasions but I'm sure Brady didn't know which down that would be. Brady was not comfortable in pocket tonight and for good reason.

Getting Amendola and Edelman back on the field will mask some of the O line issues and will to open up some of the running game, Gronk etc....

Playoffs will be interesting.

The problem is you ARE discussing this with a 12 year old with no insight into football. So consider the source.

I don't care to go in depth. 2 minutes with 2 timeouts is plenty of time to put a drive together without rushing it. There's no difference between passing and putting together some plays for at least 3 points as there was on the pats opening drive of the game. If you were playing afraid there than you should be afraid at any other point of the game when your team had the ball.

Why the **** should any Pats fan be worried about that team in the playoffs? Just took them to OT in their place with 2 of the starting OL out, the 2 best WRs out, 2 starting safeties out and trying to bed Steven Jackson in.

If they come to Foxboro in the playoffs Edelman and Amendola will be playing and they won't be getting a Steven Jackson in his first game back in a year, they will be getting a Steven Jackson that could get 20-25 carries. Even today guy was getting 4-5 yards when he got decent blocking.

lol at the secondary being atrocious, they were missing their starting 2 safeties and the jests two biggest plays come from the refs conveniently looking the other way on OPI. Only time Fitzpatrick moved the ball in the 2nd half was off of blatant OPI.

because they can run the ball and they can get to brady. they have a team to compete with us regardless of our health situation. we just aren't good enough right now to be ****y.

The 3 games NE lost this season, BB took his foot off the gas inside of 2 minutes in the 2nd quarter...with the ball. Seems he fears his own offense more than the opposition.
I think he feared Brady dropong back and getting creamed and possibly knocked out of the playoffs because of an inexperienced left tackle who suddenly found himself in the game.....a game which will probably turn out to be meaningless to the team securing home field.
