They aren't leaving it up to another team. Win next week and its home field throughout.

Edit: What the hell is there to disagree with? If they beat the Dolphins, they have homefield throughout. It's not open to conjecture, it's a fact.

There was nothing wrong about my post either. It was in reference to those who think the 2 seed is fine.

The BB lovers on this forum should admit that he has made some unbelievably bad decisions
this year. A rugby dropkick and an onside kick while leading 14-0 and resulting in touchdowns
for the opposition. Kicking off in OT was the latest outrageous decision. The Jets players were
laughing their asses off in the locker room. Truth is we would be laughing too if an opposing coach
did this.

Should be worried about a playoff matchup with this jests team. Always competitive games. The secondary was atrocious today

Why the **** should any Pats fan be worried about that team in the playoffs? Just took them to OT in their place with 2 of the starting OL out, the 2 best WRs out, 2 starting safeties out and trying to bed Steven Jackson in.

If they come to Foxboro in the playoffs Edelman and Amendola will be playing and they won't be getting a Steven Jackson in his first game back in a year, they will be getting a Steven Jackson that could get 20-25 carries. Even today guy was getting 4-5 yards when he got decent blocking.

lol at the secondary being atrocious, they were missing their starting 2 safeties and the jests two biggest plays come from the refs conveniently looking the other way on OPI. Only time Fitzpatrick moved the ball in the 2nd half was off of blatant OPI.

I was disagreeing specifically with the statement that 'You never want to leave it up to another team to get you home field throughout', since they aren't doing that.

Yeah gritty performance from a group of guys that deserved better decision making from their coach.

Look there's two types of fans and i'm going to leave it at that. You got the competitive, cut throat, die hard fans that live and die with each play or decision and you got the, "there's always next year" crowd.

It is what it is.

there's a third..the shytbird egomaniac "Pats" fan who only posts after losses and denigrates the head coach/staff/QB or just about everybody else. BTW, just who the **** is the "always next year" crowd? You drunk or just brain dead stupid?

What? It's either complain or wait for next year? How about realizing that this team is soon to get their two top offensive weapons back. Is that a third type of fan? You know the one that realizes that injuries have had an effect on this team.

What coaching decision are you talking about? "Brady, your O line is decimated so you're going to have to get rid of the ball in less than a second........oh, and by the way why don't you run a 2 minute drill with 30 seconds left so that we can put some points on the board."

It was a gritty performance. If this team can get back some key contributors during the playoffs they will have a legitimate shot at repeating.

That's what it is.

I agree with most everything you said. You seem to forget who the NFL favors though.

some people don't undersand what constructive criticism is all about. They'd rather everybody just bury their heads over every damn thing.

I call them a bunch of Baghdad Bobs. "Hey everythings fine, there's no American tanks here." all the while there's an american tank rolling along in the background.

You use the words constructive criticism but I dont think you know what that means.

You are judging plays without taking the context of their situation into consideration.

In fact it is almost ironic how when our team was healthy everyone was angry about turnovers that happened before halftime because we were going for the throat and was asking for more conservative plays.

Now where we temporarily dont have the necessary players to go for those plays and even more players are getting injured all arouns the same people are angry that we go conservative.

We were down 7, were getting the ball at the start of the second half and were playing with a LT that only joined us a few days earlier after coming back from a serious injury. You might not like it but there is nothing unreasonable about it.

The 3 games NE lost this season, BB took his foot off the gas inside of 2 minutes in the 2nd quarter...with the ball. Seems he fears his own offense more than the opposition.

Like given in response to that ridiculous "disagree" clicked.

There were a lot of instances that Brady double clutched it today. Except for some massive breakdowns in the 4th quarter he had some time. I think he has trust then doesn't all in the same game.

What it is is that you exposed yourself as someone who apparently has not a lot of understanding about situational football.

You seem confused. This wasn't a playoff game, and the Patriots were not eliminated today.

Win and we get guaranteed home field throughout the playoffs.

I'm not going to waste my time explaining it. It's pretty obvious.

Please tell me where you had the CBS feed that was showing everything in wide angles so you always knew the reason why Brady was double clutching balls. Because until the All22 is out you wouldnt know what was going on around the area where Brady wanted to go.

ok how about another name, maybe it will ring a bell with you....pink hatters.

What it tells me is he had something. More to the point was the line gave him some time a lot during the game. That was the real point. If he had time to go through progressions the line was holding up decently. Credit to them.

People on this board really wet their pants when they talk about the squealers!! They suck.

What it is is that you exposed yourself as someone who apparently has not a lot of understanding about situational football.

I have a great deal of common sense though.

I am really hoping edelman plays against miami. Just want him on the field before the playoffs

Except the line was holding up maybe 3/10 times. He was getting hit almost all the time.

Just wait until people see the All22 clip of how there was a free rusher on Brady on the INT throw. Yes, he should have thrown it away but it was another major ****up by the OL that was the catalyst of the entire turnover.
