It's easy, and only takes a few moments. He has to practice first or the Pats aren't going to put him on the field. I would love to see him back against the Jets. He adds a completely different dimension to the offense and poses a threat outside the numbers.
Personally I want to see him in an expanded role but he should be eased back into things as he get himself in football shape again.Based on reports, he has been looking good. I hope we see him in a limited role vs the Jets.
That's great news, they need the help at WR, Dobson is doing nothing.
Well it's hard to when you're not even active...That's great news, they need the help at WR, Dobson is doing nothing.
I hope you're correct, but historically the Pats have had their PUP guys practice with the team for a couple of weeks before putting them on the active roster. The Herald noted how unusual it was that a PUP player, LaFell, has made the road trip last two weeks. They also noted he has been doing pregame warm ups as well as tweeting "next week can't come soon enough".
All indicators are pointing to him fully practicing this week and getting some playing time, presumably, against the Jets. That final item, I assume, is what you want to see to feel good about LaFell playing against the Jets, understandably.

I agree I was just saying how he wasn't even active was allThat's his responsibility. I have supported Dobson since they drafted him but he's had more than enough time to prove himself and hasn't done so. He's not aa fighter, period, and I have lost faith in him.

How much longer do we have to wait for Dobson? Keenan Allen caught yet another 14 balls last Sunday. Already has 53 catches and 600 yards in 6 games. On pace for 125 catches and more than 1700 yards. Allen made an unbelievable sideline catch. How did we ever think Dobson would be a better fit for our system than Allen?
How do you know that Allen would be a fit for this system? Answer is you don't. Whining and complaining about it only shows your lack of understanding on what actually goes into evaluating players.. It's more than just production. You have no idea whether or not Allen would have taken to the Pats coaching. Players as good as Allen haven't been able to (Wayne, Johnson, Galloway).
Your comparisons are a joke. Wayne, Galloway, Johnson were 35-37 years old when they signed with New England. They were old and slow, that's why they didn't make it. Keenan Allen is young, 23-24 years old and superbly talented, and is an incredible possession WR. He is on pace for 125 catches this season!
And no..washed up versions of Wayne, Galloway, Johnson are nowhere near as good as a prime 23 year old Keenan Allen who is going to produce a 100 catch 1500 yard season. You don't actually believe that do you?
Anyone with two eyes knows Allen was the much better college football player than Dobson. Anyone with two eyes should have been able to determine Allen would transition far easier into the NFL than Dobson.
