I think it's the fact that once again Goodell lied and had the arrogance to think he could get away with it because the transcript was "confidential" was what did it. Thank you Judge Berman!
Heard a rumor that Stephen A Smith completely back tracked on his "Brady is guilty" position today, a complete 180. He even admits that the reason Brady probably didn't give up his phone is so the contents wouldn't be made public like his emails ended up public. The Best part? He finally admits that "It appears the NFL were after BB and the Patriots" and that "They should Let Brady play".
I didn't believe it until I could hear it, and I found the audio up on youtube. It starts at 16:55
This is where Kensil sneaks up behind him and brains him with a folding chair.ok, this is a trap, right?
I don't watch wwe --- is this where they each switch sides, or whatever, and bayless becomes the pats hater?
ohhhhhh....waitaminute --- he opened by saying there's no reason for this topic to be on first take any longer........
Yep and you can thank Brady for being ok with it and Kessler having the foresight in knowing the appeal testimony public would cause the NFL a lot of damage.Well seeing that the NFLPA released the emails I don't think that's it. It was no different with Ray Rice. They thought they could lie and then TMZ released the video of what happened inside the elevator. Dude, I don't see how anyone with any common sense does not see that this guy is the worst commissioner in any sport probably ever. It's repugnant. He's a f*cking moron. While the NFLPA did release these emails it was because the NFL lied and told the public that Brady refused to give them emails/texts and so they were almost forced to show the public that the NFL was lying through its teeth.
The NFL/Goodell were arrogant and thought they could just lie to the public and no way would the NFLPA/Brady refute it as that would require releasing Brady's personal life to the world and everyone knows that Brady is a very private guy when it comes to his personal life and would never agree to release his emails. Boy were they wrong.
I'm guessing Brady signed off on this release and knew that it would be better for his legacy to show that he cooperated fully with the NFL even though the world would know details about his personal life.
I have been saying this for a while now, when Kensil so eloquently said to the Pats Equipment Manager during the Colts game.. "you're f..ed", he literally meant it.
Initially they envisioned that the penalty, as BB had to be behind it, would be very "Bountygateesque" and BB would be suspended for at least a year.. then Kraft might have had to fire him, and level the playing field.
Then the NFL completely lost control of the message, and despite having little or nothing on Brady they nit picked their way into making the narrative fit the conclusion... someday this will be taught in Harvard Business School or Wharton on how to completely screw something up..
What goes around, comes around..
This is not correct. The NFLPA did not release the emails. The judge made all docs in the case public. While the NFLPA did release these emails it was because the NFL lied and told the public that Brady refused to give them emails/texts and so they were almost forced to show the public that the NFL was lying through its teeth.
