Kraft has shown his true colors. He is a coward. I doubt he has the guts to stand in the middle of Gillette and take the reception he deserves.
The one thing that keeps going through my head is when Kraft used the motto "Do your job" this season. Cant remember when it was. It was in the post season. But he was referring to the fans "doing their job" and that it was now the teams turn to "do their job". Everyone did their job but Kraft. His job was to defend his team, his QB and the fans who spend their time, energy and money (which goes into his wallet) on the Patriots and he didn't.
Apparently he feels his job is to serve the 32 owners and not the fan base.
Why do some fans persist in thinking there is some secret information that led kraft to sell out his fans that makes it all right?? The NFL leaked everything from fact to fiction about the Pats. Appealing/fighting was always going to be hard, but that's what you do when your integrity is challenged to the core and you have integrity in the first place.Cannot and never will boo Mr. Kraft.. as much as I disagree with what he did, he is the man who brought this team from obscurity to greatness..
There is more to this than we will ever know...

The most effective thing that fans could do would be to boycott the opener. Create the national spectacle of an empty stadium on opening day.I would rather the banner be raised in total silence - as every attending fan stays out in the parking lot for the entire first quarter in protest.

Well, what more could there be?
That he was told that there was a "smoking gun" when he got to the meeting and he cut this deal to avoid the damage of having it released?
That he became convinced that Brady had lied to him and actually had played a role in orchestrating whatever happened?
That he decided, based on the best advice he could get, that Dan Shaughnessy is right, that this was a fight he "couldn't win?"
That a significant number of the other owners told him that he would be forever snubbed by them if he went through with a fight?
That, maybe, just maybe, this was the price of getting Brady's suspension lifted entirely? If so we will "know" that eventually. That's the only thing that we reasonably can't know yet that could change my perspective at this point.
So, what more could there be that we will never learn that won't take us into the realm of "conspiracy theories?" Did somebody blackmail him? Did somebody buy him off? Did he do it to protect BB because the "smoking gun" pointed at him and Kraft had already left BB hanging out to dry once before? None of those are credible, but they do represent where we "end up" if we head in the direction of the grassy knoll of "things we will never know."
Kraft suckups are reduced to the pathetic "We don't know what he knows" defense.
He just did more damage to the brand and the reputations of the HC and QB than can be imagined.
Ron Borges is of course, thrilled. Kraft HOF for this subjugation of the team.
True story
I know this guy (I've known him all my life). Wealthy and popular with a lot of people who first meet him. He's involved in a lot of charities and does a lot of good in the community. He's got awards for his charitable work. Handsome, well-spoken, and very generous with his wealth.
I also know that he verbally and physically abused his kids, wife, and has from time to time gone after his father and mother. He punched his 86 year old father in the face knocking him to the ground last time. His son hears fingernails on a chalkboard every time his father speaks. This guy's been arrested for assault numerous times and because he's wealthy and well-known in the community, he's gotten off of the charges and his wife is an enabler.
So I ask you. Given all that he does for charity, is he a good guy?
See, the way I see it is that you can do a lot of good and still be a complete waste of life. That's just my opinion though. Lots of people think that guy is a saint.
