Well that's an idiotic thing to say for a number of reasons. You've now pissed off your player and ruined his trade value. Obviously you never want to convince anybody that you actually want to give somebody up. Surprised Chip isn't smarter than that.
At CB, I agree...once the top players were gone, maybe they saw the rest as scrubs. Plus the top guys all had concerns too.
Surprised on the WR front though, I would have like to see some competition, at least. They certainly looked at enough WRs in the scouting process, just look at the contact list...
I love Chip. The pride of Dover, NH
Speaking of which, what's the news on deceptionpickgate from the other night? I think it's only fair the Patriots forfeit the Malcom Brown pick and he can sign with any team he likes as long as it's an AFC team residing in New Jersey as well as the Patriots losing a first round pick next year as well.Deceptive and against the spirit of the rules. The competition committee will be taking a long look at it.
A.J. Derby's 2.71 yards per route run were fourth among draft-eligible TEs, according to @PFF. Had just one drop on 32 targets.
He's from UNH what can you except? He woulda learned better here at UMaine.I love Chip. The pride of Dover, NH
I think that most of us would have liked a WR, with the Navy LS drafted in the 7th.
Do we have enough former QBs on the team yet? We love those former QB converts : P

T'was a joke...notice the smiley.I'm sure the educators at UMaine are bursting with pride reading that post.
I was mistaken.. He will probably have to wait 2 years..Somebody needs to get the story straight with the LS, somebody said Denver had a military player last year who got to play right away. Mike Reiss needs to get us the inside scoop.
I'm really wondering what has everyone scared off of Tre McBride. Is he like that one WR from a year or two ago that was projected to go 3rd round and went undrafted?? (can't remember his name)
