Wrongo. The guy could do a Cromartie, but instead DOUBLES DOWN ON HONORABLE, not only marries the momma of his kid but adopts some other guys kid.

Don't see how you cant think that isn't proof he won't be more responsible. Now, that family thing may also distract slightly, but hopefully that means he puts in the workout (legs) regime anyway and doesn't ride Gronks bus

Not knocking the guy. I am just stating getting someone pregnant when you are 19 is not an example of maturity. Again, the guy could be really mature. This is just not an example of it.

And I never said it was proof he isn't responsible. Don't put words in my mouth. I am saying it isn't an example of maturity. It is a huge difference.

For example, Brad Pitt is considered a great guy by most people who know him. But if you give an example to prove he is a great guy in that he dumped Jennifer Aniston because he fell in love with Angelina Joli on the set, I would say the same thing. he may be a great guy, but that isn't an example of him being a great guy.

And before you start saying how I can compare the two. I am using an extreme example to make a point.

You really, uh, read the name Malcolm Brown and thought "Middle Eastern in origin" rather than "autocorrect mistake?"

After 4 hours of ESPN draft coverage I'm mentally spent.

Malcom Brown highlights:

This is not a comment that should be taken as relative to the Brown pick but considering the strong second round potentially, I'd have liked to have seen what BB would do with the two extra picks we might have had if that trade had happened.

We could have had #'s 51, 64, 82, 96, 97, 101.

Tomorrow would have been fun. Hopefully it still will be.

Despite picking last in the round, I think the Patriots did the best of the AFC East. Obviously the Bills lacked a first round pick so it's slightly unfair, but the Jets took unquestionably the most talented player in the draft... but unfortunately at the position where they already had probably the two best players in the NFL, on a team where holes were everywhere except there. Best player available is all well and good but now you've got the best player available keeping your bench warm.

Meanwhile the Dolphins took a workout warrior wide receiver I wanted to steer clear from even when it was possible he'd be there at the end of the round.

Watching BB's press conference sounds like BB is thinking about maybe using that non-comp 3rd rounder or TB's 4th to move up.

Wait a second.....you can tell what BB is thinking from his press conferences?????????

I was hoping for Jordan Philips, but mostly that was because I didn't think Brown would be around. Very happy with the pick.

The Jets pick still soured the night. However, if they do lose Wilkerson, it's kind of a wash...but OMG and yikes, that's a DL!

So is the Pats'. They don't exactly look like slouches themselves.

Man, anyone else bother to watch BB presser. Haha. Not sure why I tuned in. Literal white noise. :p

Asalaam aleikum, Malcom! You will be a great Patriot, inshaallah!

I agree, sounds like a responsible move, especially if it's someone he really loves. He got started early good for him.

Holy crap!

A 4-3 of
Ninko-Brown-Easley-Chandler Jones
Hightower-Mayo-Collins

or a 3-4 of

Branch-Brown-Siliga
Hightower-Mayo-Collins-Sheard

Mix and match whomever you want in there.

This is going to be fun.

Wow, talk about fighting in the trenches!

At 16 doesn't seem the height of responsibility.
That's not his kid, he adopted a child and now has a biological one with his wife...I am not going to argue on the level of maturity it takes to get someone pregnant, but what you do after certainly counts.

The Jets almost look as if they wasted the pick, which is bizarre to say when we're talking about them taking arguably the best prospect in the draft.

So my spellcheck and inability to re-read my posts has SMY'd this thread. Sorry all.

Wait til we draft Shaq Riddick on Saturday. People are gonna want to know what the heck an arid duck is.

In the draft thread I was referring to "A RB" as in a running back and it was spell-checked to "Arab". There is a Malcolm Brown that's a RB. It was a joke.
Any joke that needs explaining is not funny. I didn't get it either, and your explanation still doesn't make it funny. Oh well, humor can be subjective.
