I don't know Brown from Adam, but knocking up your girlfriend at age 19 while you are still in college isn't exactly what I call maturity. Could be very mature, but I don't know if this is an example of it.

I really like the pick and not trashing him, but I think this is a silly tweet from Volin.

Wrongo. The guy could do a Cromartie, but instead DOUBLES DOWN ON HONORABLE, not only marries the momma of his kid but adopts some other guys kid.

Don't see how you cant think that isn't proof he won't be more responsible. Now, that family thing may also distract slightly, but hopefully that means he puts in the workout (legs) regime anyway and doesn't ride Gronks bus

We're still downgraded in the secondary but with Mayo back, the addition of Sheard and Easley a year removed from injury our front 7 is likely upgraded even with Vince's sad departure.

I'm probably in the minority but I felt Siliga outplayed Vince when he came off IR last season anyways. That doesn't mean I'm unhappy about the pick; I think Siliga and Branch are fine as a duo at NT and hope Easley and Brown will be a terrible twosome at UT (who will both play on passing downs).

That is, in an odd sort of way, GRONK being responsible, too: if his fam rides the party bus, he doesn't have to worry about them driving drunk. They can also do what they want in private w/o worrying about the paparazzi.

Yep and a question for the mods. My OT reporting post I started I feel was important enough to earn its own thread. Yes its about the draft but probably deserved not being buried in the official draft thread.

I was hoping for Jordan Philips, but mostly that was because I didn't think Brown would be around. Very happy with the pick.

The Jets pick still soured the night. However, if they do lose Wilkerson, it's kind of a wash...but OMG and yikes, that's a DL!

I am in love with this pick sincve my knowledge of the DT crop was mostly second hand before. this guy is big, unlike Easley, but he's a beast who spends most of his time in the backfield.

Cover a weakness, add to a strength and we just have to be playing an attacking defense now. Classic BB. Instead of replacing Wilfork, he's turned around the style of D. We can pair this guy with Branch or Siliga for running downs or Easley on passing downs and still have some quickness/bulk in either. Add some combo of Jones, Sheard, Nink, Collins, Hightower and Mayo rushing and we can get by with a clever, but less overpowering secondary by just collapsing protection with in and out rushes.

Good quality booing of the ogre presenting our pick, too.
