It's easy, and only takes a few moments. My post was worded a little confusing, I was saying that I had my doubts on Chandler being better than Wright, but that I definately felt Chandler was better than Hooman. Now of course you can ask me what I am basing Wright > Chandler on, and it's just the eye test. Wright feels like there's much more upside, he's more dynamic, while Chandler is just a very very big dude, and there's a lot of very very big dudes in the league. What are you basing that theory on? A dead protozoan would be a better blocker than Wright.
I still can't figure out why Rex cut him in the first place. Was he a cap casualty? When Jake Ballard got here he was a physical reclamation project but eventually needed to retire because his knee was a mess.
Chandler is healthy.
Helu received 2y/$4m....I loved him too.spiller, vereen both got over 4m and I bet bush too..what did helu get?
He recommended to Rex a good mani/peti salon...That was it for him.I still can't figure out why Rex cut him in the first place. Was he a cap casualty?
We just need 2 starting CBs, a starting LG, starting NT, and a 3DRB and we will be in great shape.
very reasonable..darn itHelu received 2y/$4m....I loved him too.
Not sure the Pats were in the mix. Seems reasonable $

I'm fine with Gost's deal now, not so much 4 days ago when I thought we had a shot at Revis. I can definately live with it now, he's money. The deals, especially Gost's, are fine. Seriously, if you're complaining about Gost's contract, you're looking for **** to ***** about.
I would add that keeping Amendola on a restructured deal is also a plus.Kept McCourty
Kept Gostkowski
Signed Sheard, (likely) upgrade at PR
Signed Chandler, (likely) upgrade at TE
Brought in needed competition for the LS
Those are all plus moves. I grant you that the non-move on Revis still outweighs everything else.

McCourty I'm iffy about. I can still remember 2010-2013 McCourty giving me headache after headache. It definately seems like he improved, but I'm not convinced it wasn't because the talent around him got better. I have a feeling with lesser corners now, McCourty won't look as spiffy as he did in 2014. He's really good, but he's not elite. He got paid elite money.

Belichick has never been one to hand the keys to the car, so to speak, to a Rookie 3rd Down RB.
Case in point: James White, Shane Vereen, etc.

Well I don't know how you can call me a homer considering all I've done on this thread is questions their moves...so you can have your spot back and wait for someone else to take it.Once again, just early in pre season and I'm already knocked out of Top 10 Pats Homer status
Which is why I said I can live with it. They had to overpay to keep him, it was their only option.I don't know why this is even a question. McCourty is a tier 2 safety. He's not elite, but he's right in the next bunch. His pay was commensurate with that level of player. Go take a look at what Ron Parker just got for one decent season at the position.
