Belichick cancels Saturday walkthrough

Belichick must feel that Seattle is predictable on both sides of the ball. Execute what's been put in, and Seattle won't have other things to unveil. The players must be focused and the distractions of deflategate not an issue.

They'll probably work with their position groups, lift and stretch some, watch video, and set their day up to get as much sleep as possible.

I hope they come out of the gate sharp and fast. They didn't after the bye nore in the Baltimore divisional game. In Bill We Trust.

I keep going back to the 2012 game. If not for the brain fart at the end of the 1st 1/2 and the secondary meltdown (before Talib) they had that game won- in SEA.

SEA is a great team but I think we match up well vs them.

BB has cancelled practice before on Sat. Either way, good sign and good show of confidence in the team.

When Brady was going on his 16 for 16 streak in the 2012 SO, I called my dad and said "I TOLD you they are winning this game."

I will not be making any premature predictions via telephone this year. But as I remember it, they actually played pretty well in 2012, save the stupidity of the safety, etc.

Exactly. Cancelling a walk through isn't the same as cancelling all prep work. Those guys won't exactly be hitting the national parks today.

Just because they are not practicing, does not mean they are not preparing.. don't they as a group move to some secret location and hunker down before the game today?? They have to do something 53 guys cannot be holed up with nothing to do for the next 30 hours or so..

Suspect that there are meetings and other activities associated with this game...

Well, I just listened to Troy Brown on Gresh and Zo and he says otherwise. He said that guys right now are actually trying to get away from the game for a little bit. He said that guys are probably playing cards, hanging out, sleeping, etc. He said that their minds will slowly turn back to the game, but they are relaxing now.

This is a BB coached team. It honed them in. I think they're a pack of rabid dogs foaming out of the mouth and ready to be unleashed. Willie Mac said as much in a recent interview. He said the they would hear all the chatter and they would be ready to "eat" come game time.

There is a subliminal message sent to the other team when one of the best if not the best coach in the game decides his team has prepared enough to face you. If any other coach, it would have been seen as overconfidence, but I guess if BB does it, I think at least some doubt that enters their mind about if they really figured something out

I would put committing a safety on the first offensive play of the game, which put us down 9 points early. If that hadn't of happened, who knows.
