Part of the problem with drafting a WR is that they are often the 3rd-4th read and Brady never gets to them because one of the first 2 reads were open. I have seen Tim Wright, Tyms, Amendola and Dobson open but Brady does not look there way. I understand why people say Dobson is a bust but I think alot of it is on Brady. I am not saying there is anything wrong with Brady just that he has more confidence in the vets. It took Lafell quite awhile before he was getting a volume of targets.
I'm going to disagree with this. My opinion is Dobson isn't on the field because of Dobson. 2 false starts in 3 series doesn't cut it. If you can't be relied on to line up properly how is someone going to throw him the ball? If he was a ringer he would be out there playing and contributing because the coaches would identify that in practice. He is injured more often than not as well. I'm not declaring bust because he has shown potential from last season and he is only in his second year, but he certainly does have to step it up next year or the term may just stick.
As far as Brady not getting to his 3rd and 4th reads I think you need to watch again. Depending on the play called, Edelman Gronkowski 1-2, Lafell 3, Vereen,Blount/Gray/ 4. You watch any HOF QB play and he is going to miss his 4th reads from time to time due to defensive pressure, what side of the field the QB is facing, or he may see the read but his feet/body are in no position to make the throw.
