It's easy, and only takes a few moments. You have every right to go make more money, like Bob Kraft did too.Not every business seeks to maximize profits. The Krafts own one the richest franchises in the NFL. They don't need the money. They are prioritizing additional profits ahead of the enjoyment of more ordinary fans. They have every right to do so. We have every right to criticize their pecuniary selfishness.
Called out. We will likely check this out but only using it pregame.
Removing 1,500 seats ought to help with the pesky problem of excessive crowd noise when the visiting team has the ball.
I have a hard time understanding why people get so angry about "improvements" such as this (with the exception of the displaced season ticket holders).
Don't we want the Krafts to be as successful as possible? Doesn't their financial success collectively help the team and by extension the fanbase as a whole?
I personally do not wish to revisit the days of cold aluminium benches, constant threat of team relocation, and unusable bathrooms because the franchise teeters on the brink of bankruptcy.
I'll never own club seats, luxury boxes, or lounge space, or season tickets. I don't have the money-- I'll go to 1 or 2 games a year-- but nobody is making us buy these things. If the high priced amenities are such a poor decision, market forces will reveal it. After a couple losing seasons, it'll be empty.
I don't understand the vitriol towards those who choose to purchase these things. If you don't like something, don't buy it and stop complaining
Go Pats.

Absolutely. I make many decisions in my personal and business life that sacrifice monetary gain because they are are intended to bring other sorts of rewards. Are you seriously telling me that if you were him, you would say, no thanks, I have enough money, I don't want any more?
No doubt the lounge will have a number of large-screen TVs.I like that is close to the field, but I wouldn't pay that much to be in the end zone. Being that low in the end zone, you ain't seeing anything going on when the ball is in the other red zone.

And that is absolutely not what this is about.Absolutely. I make many decisions in my personal and business life that sacrifice monetary gain because they are are intended to bring other sorts of rewards.
You're going to pay $1500 per person per year "to check it out"??
If Kraft didn't need the money, why did he built Patriot place? Why does he keep running his businesses?

The Gillette PR staff, ladies and gentlemen!
