Personally, I have greatly enjoyed discussing the patriots for many, many years on this forum. I have little or no interest in other teams or sports. I avoid the sub-forums and almost all Off-Topic threads (and am happy that they are marked). I am fine with all threads having to do with the patriots, and everything about them.
I wasn't surprised to start reading a thread about who we should start at RB. After all, that might be a controversial and interesting subject. I WAS surprised when, upon further reading, that the thread had nothing to do with the patriots. Rather the thread had to do with the poster's hobby of participating in fantasy football leagues.
See below for a discussion. I didn't add a poll because this thread is intended as advice to Ian. This isn't a democracy. Clearly, Ian does, and should, make such decisions.

THE QUESTION (My choice is #2, although I am OK with #3 or even #4)
Should we have posts of whether to start LeFell or Blount on our fantasy football teams within threads that are about wide receivers and running backs. Should we celebrate that Gray scored lots of fantasy points for us?
IMHO, there are several options.
1) Have fantasy discussions within all threads, as long as the discussion is about patriots players.
2) Have fantasy threads clearly marked FF, analogous to off-topic threads. Under this option, fantasy football would only be discussed in these threads.
3) Have fantasy discussions in a separate sub-forum. we already have many sub-forums.
4) Have the understanding that this is a forum about the patriots, not our fantasy football teams, and have no discussions of fantasy football.
