OT: Peyton Manning at Fenway for opening day

Re: Peyton Manning at Red Sox game

It IS somewhat perplexing why fans of spoiled brat selfish losers like the Red Sox would have any interest in the NE Patriots with their team oriented, mostly unselfish approach to winning. Maybe its a left brain, hindquarters typa thinking.

Excellent observation. Fans of Boston's baseball team don't deserve the Patriots. The Atlanta Falcons would be more in line with their mindset.

Peyton was at Fenway to film yet another tv commercial . . . like using his laser arm to throw a football through the Green Monster, singing a duet with Robert Goulet, "cut that sushi" hilarity with Ichiro and Dice K or some other type of horse faced merriment.

No, I think it's because most of us combination Pats/Sox fans root for teams because of local interest (as well as the Bruins and the Celtics if they were watchable) not by picking teams that strike our fancy.

Re: Peyton Manning at Red Sox game

But MLB isn't watchable

This maybe the most pathatic, condescending crap I may have reads on this forum in a long long time.
who the hell are you to judge people's interest and passions? if you and the other poster don't like baseball, that's perfectly fine, but to say that people who like both sports and cheer for both the Sox and the Patriots of being undeserving of the majesty of the patriots is BS of the highest caliber.

Just speaking Truth to Power!

Re: Peyton Manning at Red Sox game

speaks volumes

This is awesome! Finally, a thread that pits the board's knee-jerk hatred of Peyton Manning head-to-head against its knee-jerk hatred of the Red Sox!

And coming down the home stretch...

...it's the Red Sox haters by three lengths!

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the board's angry contingent officially hates the Boston Red Sox more than the Patriots' own opponents! Take a bow, baseball haters!

Now that's just stupid.

I heard Brady and Manning were out on the town last night. I just find that strange. I don't see these two being good friends. They seem very different!

Re: Peyton Manning at Red Sox game

according to your personal opinion, a lot of us here enjoy watching baseball.

Just sit back and enjoy. Right now baseball haters only have a wedgie. By July the panties are fully twisted up to the adams apple. Some poor soul will make a baseball post in the wrong forum and it turns into one pork chop for four pit bulls. Great off season entertainment.

Wow, I have been called a moron and a poor soul for posting this here. It was my first ever post too! My apologies to those I upset. I'm sorry.

Hey, it's good to make a splash with your first post. :D

Repeat after me: "It's okay to like the Patriots and the Sox. It's okay to like the Patriots and the Sox. It's okay to like the Patriots and the Sox."

Hey dude, thanks for your kind permission! Does that also mean you do us all a favor and limit baseball talk to the baseball forum from now on?

Repeat after me: "It's okay to like the Patriots and the Sox (as long as baseball posts go in the baseball forum). Finally, someone is starting to understand.

C'mon. No big deal. Your post was football related, Manning et. al. Just strikes a fun response. You'll get to know it better after a while. Enjoy the Forum.

Re: Peyton Manning at Red Sox game

*This thread belongs in the baseball forum.

Tunescribe, your feelings on baseball are well known, but give the poster a break, this thread wasn't about baseball at all! It was about running into Peyton Manning in Boston, the precise location was just a side note. It could just as well have been "Peyton Manning on a Swan Boat"...until you, dear friend, started talking about the Red Sox!

You will never see me utter those two words in this forum ... :nono: :nono: :nono:

what the hell is your problem??
as some wise poster has said, this is NOT actually a baseball thread, it's about Payton Manning( a QB which means he plays FOOTBALL!!) being seen in Boston.
it was you with your stupid childish attack on the Boston Red sox that turned it into a baseball discussion.

and if you can't stand them ...why keep coming back to this thread?..sheesh!
