As opposed to your obsession/crusade/borderline OCD about him?
I actually just respond to posters who quote my posts, I write one about Amendola, the Amendola faithful come out and defend him, I respond to them. If nobody quoted my posts about Amendola, I would not post about Amendola more than once or twice.

Take for example, this posts, I was speaking to Bruins29, not you, but you chose to chime in, so I responded to you, if you had minded your own business I would not have had to write this post, but I think it would be rude for me to ignore your obvious desire for my attention...:)

Really, because Manx, Mayo, and OTG are the three most knowledgeable draft gurus on this board and all of them reference workout numbers, as do the majority of the other people who invest time in the scouting and drafting period of the offseason.

You seem to like many others think that what you see on Sunday is the end all be all and judge a player solely on that, you determine that if they are effective as a rookie, they will be great but if they struggle, they are going to suck. Once you see a player on the field that is all that matters is the philosophy preached, but that does not allow for the possibility for a player to develop.

You lack perspective. How a player actually performs on the field runs laps around any ability to run and jump they potentially have. Jerry Rice's 4.71 40 time has been exceeded by thousands of receivers since he was drafted, but his performance has not.

That's because he didn't just rely on his natural athletic abilities, he developed all his skill and delivered performance.

Chad Jackson had speed, size and athletic ability off the charts. His combine workouts were marvelous to behold. As a player? He sucked.

It is interesting to me, you take the good and the bad of the interest, sometimes you see a player rise up to his athletic ability, other times you see a player who has everything on paper fail. I look at Josh Boyce’s workout numbers, I determine this is a player who has the talent to do what TY Hilton or Randall Cobb do, then I watch the games and I see if that actually transpires.

Look at them all you want. Just don't start quoting combine numbers when combine numbers are meaningless. It's the same with basic game stats. If you're talking about how good Arrington is, pounding his one year with 7 INTs as if it's meaningful as his norm will get you laughed at, and deservedly so.

So the people that respond to your behavior are retroactively causing it?

Yeah actually, I have an anxiety panic disorder and OCD that I have been in treatment for since I was 15, it was compounded with some PTSD after 12 years in the Air Force in 4 tours oversea. I am not ashamed of it, and I do not think anyone who suffers from a mental illness should be, I also do not think you should make comments about not taking meds it is insensitive, you do not know what people are going through that read this board.

Sorry you have that. However, aren't you like an air marshal responsible for the safety of 100's of people with a gun on a plane.

So you have all these problems and have the lives of 100s in your hands. Well I have only one word for that.

Awesome!

No need to get personal.

This is how the Pats68 stuff got deleted, I don't remember who started it but someone took their disagreeance beyond football and started personally attacking him.

This isn't the place.

No need to get personal.

No. I think if someone tells us they are and air marshal and also have a lot of mental problems I think I have a right to ask about it. And considering he brought up his career here and his issues its fair game.

You're not asking about it, you're being sarcastic and a ****.

I am serious. I feel compelled to respond if you quote my post, that is why I end up posting so much because whenever I mention Amendola it gets quoted so much.

Umm I get a medical every 6 months and the FAA does not have a problem with it so, I do not think you need to worry. Are you that ignorant that you think people do not have problems in some way or another in every channel of life? You must be flawless with not a single emotional or mental issue, ever.

Serious question. Is that an issue for a commercial airline pilot?

You quote my posts about him. I never interact with you unless you quote me first.

I am not perfect. I was just curious since you had a pretty serious job that could be rather stressful.

I dont know if I would say everyone has problems.....then again its all relative, so I dont see why that would be ignorant.

No it is not, I do not take any medications, or anything like that, when I first came back from overseas I did not fly for about 8 months because I was having a lot of panic attacks but since then I have been fine. Pilots like most people have their fair share of issues, unfortunately a lot of pilots lose their medicals (temporarily or permanently) because of mental illness since the FAA is very strict about the medications you can take, and SSRI are on the do not use list.

Not at all, I used to work in the counseling center in college.

Pilots deal with issues, depression, anxiety, just like they do diabetes or cancer, I mean people are people and they are complicated no matter what they do for work. Stress of a job is a nonfactor for me anyway, I take my vitamins, workout for 90 minutes a day, try to avoid caffeine and other stimulants, and get a good nights sleep, that combined with relaxation techniques works for me, others need more intensive therapy. To be honest I like this forum and use it so much because it distracts me from being idle in my own thought, that is when I would formulate a lot of anxiety, so I try and stay busy.

I apologize for calling you ignorant, you really are not a bad guy sometimes we do not get along but overall you are good conversation much of the time.

I was not responding to you. I had no problem with what you asked me it was very respectfully written and not out of line at all.
