First off, I don't feel "backed into a corner" in any way, shape, or form. I would generally engage this argument from Natural Law rather than religion since it is self evident to those who are willing to see the truth. I went "religion" because someone else brought it up.

Boogs is definitely guilty of discrimination. There is no doubt about that. All forms of discrimination are based on hatred or fear in some form or another, make no mistake...it may not be deliberate or malicious in nature, but the fact remains. Good luck trying convince him into gaining some insight into his own perceptions. I'm telling you right now that you won't. The reason why is because of his religion. He won't take personal responsibility for discriminating against gays because, in his mind, he is only following the Word of God. There simply is not a way to argue against that. Trust me.

All you will get are rationalizations based on the Bible, all of which will fall on his side of the argument too, even if there are contradictions. Because it's not him, it's God where his information comes from. Again, impossible to argue with that. He won't own his true feelings on the matter because of this. It's not based on logical thought...it's based on BELIEF of something you simply cannot argue with.

Everyone is entitled to their faith and their beliefs, and that should be respected, however those who insist that their beliefs are right and others are wrong have no right to any respect at all and should be ridiculed at every turn.
