College Football Star Michael Sam Says He Is Gay; May Become First Publicly G...

Thats kind of funny. You think calling him gay is judgment. The judgment is calling him wrong because he is gay.

You're even funnier. I'm not judging when people themselves proclaim or admit to sinful actions listed in the Bible. Whether it's getting drunk, have sex outside of marriage with women, having gay sex, murdering people ect. You really shouldn't get your panties in a bunch about what I believe. Who cares? Especially if there is nothing morally wrong with homosexual acts? I'm just a guy on the internet who says he believes what the Bible says about it.

If your position is who cares, then why are you commenting?
The reason to care is your (meaning the group you claim to represent with your thinking) force your beliefs on other people which has a hurtful result.

What do you accomplish by denigrating Sam, and with him all gay people?
Why do you not understand that most people do not share your beliefs?

I like expressing my beliefs and opinions. Probably the same as you AndyJohnson.
I don't force anyone to believe what I believe. I wouldn't want to anyway.
I'm not denigrating Sam. If he's a great teammate, and handles himself well around a team, I would gladly play alongside him. The same as when I play rec sports alongside guys (my friends) who go out and get drunk, sleep with other women.

Exactly you could be friends or teammates with gays, fornicators etc. But I think you're saying that while you may be friends and or teammates with those people you may still consider their actions and or lifestyle sinful. That doesn't mean you wouldn't offer that person a jacket if cold, or food if hungry, play football with them, or hang out with them as a friend. It just means that you don't agree with some of that person's choices and will not partake in the acts of theirs that you may feel are sinful. I agree with ya boogs, you're on point as usual.

Boogs is not denigrating Sam. Boogs is a very nice person who has strong beliefs and expresses them in situations he feels fit. Nevertheless, I feel that Boogs has made good points, been fair and respectful

Then why make that comment?

Of course you are denigrating him.
If you don't care that people believe what you do, then why say anything, especially something that is critical of and hurtful to an entire class of people?

I don't care about guys like Uncle Meat who gets drunk and has gay sex, I'm talking about the millions of gay youngsters who are made to feel immoral, unacceptable or demeaned because others feel the need to tell them they are unGodly. What do you gain by making hurtful comments about them?

Sam is a gay man, who has gay sex. Saying his life is inappropriate is not anyones place.
That is denigrating him.
You don't have to be unfair or disrespectful or a bad person to make inflammatory comments that are hurtful to others.

Being gay is not a choice.
You are saying he was born wrong.

Everyone is entitled to their faith and their beliefs, and that should be respected, however those who insist that their beliefs are right and others are wrong have no right to any respect at all and should be ridiculed at every turn.

No one knows what comes next until they have been there, to date that means no one knows what is next.

Of course everyone thinks that their beliefs are right and others are wrong. This is always true by definition. It's the imposing beliefs on others that I have a problem with.

Not entertaining opposing viewpoints is kind of annoying too, but arguing with a true believer is a fool's errand. You'll lose every time, no matter what the belief. That's life.

For some it is a choice. Some are hetero, then go homo, and then go back to hetero and say they aren't gay anymore.
For others, I think it's something wrong in their psychology from development or nutritional over generations like Pottenger's cat experiments. The cats with the poor nutritional diet had homosexual behavior after 3 or 4 generations. Those may be the ones that say they always remember being attracted to the same sex as a young kid. They need professional help and may have a lifelong battle to stay celibate.

Your hatred of anyone not like you reeks.

I don't know...did you make a choice to be a complete idiot?

Could be the poor nutritional diet. LOL, they ate the wrong things, and that could explain homosexuality.

They need professional help...go fck yourself, dude. It's you that needs professional help.

Relax man. I don't hate you either. Sorry you want me to. Actually I hope you have an awesome day.

Boogs doesn't hate those who aren't just like him. He has agreed that he would give a gay person food if hungry, a jacket if cold, befriend a gay, play sports with a gay etc. Boogs is just saying he does not agree with some of their activities, choices and will not partake in the ones that he feels are sinful.

Typical.

I'm sure you'll pray for me too, or something equally condescending.

You're a judgmental dimwit.

Lol dude. Not sure how you come up with that. So you seriously think I hate Michael Sam?

You just said that people who are born gay have psychological development problems, and should struggle to live a celibate life denying who they are.
They are gay. They were born that way, it is part of their DNA and they are free to have whatever type of sex they wish and there is nothing wrong with that unless they are hurting someone.
Projecting your beliefs on them and implying they should adhere to them or there is something wrong with them is hatred.
Of course you hate Michael Sam you think he is an inferior person because he is gay.

Boogs is judging them negatively on a fundamental level, saying they're sick for loving the wrong type of person in his book, which he hides behind.

So nice of him to give them food if they are hungry, almost as if they were as human as him.

And again, gay is not a choice.

If you really believe I hate the guy, despite the fact I said that I could possibly compete alongside him with no issues, then there is no convincing you that I don't.
