What happened to Thompkins?

I wonder if Austin Collie is healthy. Can't afford to suit up only two wide outs again. Edelman and Amendola are too injury prone to do that again.

You mean the Austin Collie that was cut the beginning of last month? You want him resigned?

Boyce not only suited up yesterday, he had a catch.

If Kendob cant go it will be minitron, amendola, boyce, slater

Are these guys wearing hip pads? Thompkins came down really hard on his hip, it appeared. But on the sidelines it looked like he was holding his groin.

Oh forgot about Boyce. Don't want Slater to ever have to suit up. He's not an nfl caliber wide out.

From the replay it looks to me like a hip pointer. That doesn't mean he couldn't have hurt his middle thingies though.

I want Boyce out there if Thompkins and Dobson can't go.

He was simply making an obscene gesture to the Houston fans

NFL Caliber or not hes suiting up every game that hes healthy. Hes a captain for a reason.

I'm worried about Dobson. A sprained foot is a terrible injury for a WR/or RB. Didn't both Edelman and Boyce miss most of training camp because of a sprained foot ?

i thought dobson -thompkins would beast this time around. but it's all veterans now. we need 1 of these 2 to take that next step in january

I actually expected it to be Dobson and Boyce, but I also expect rookies to start hitting the wall around this time. Thompkins just landed really hard and he will be back, I'm impressed with what he has given them this season, good find, came out of nowhere. I expect Dobson back and he should be their downfield option for the play-offs, anything from the others is gravy imo.

Not a dog-faker ... he will return.

Boyce was out there this weak when Thompkins couldn't go (and Dobson was out). There s no alternative.

This is a blessing the Dobson and KT have had rest. The more fresh they are, the better for the playoffs.

Edelman had surgery to correct his right? Boyce I am not sure. You heard the pats are being cautious with it. He is key for the playoffs.

Actually, Slater played some snaps at WR yesterday too--if that tells you how desperate our situation was vs HOU.

When Boyce receives a target and Slater has to line up at WR, you know we're down to the bare minimum.

We'll know just how bad things are if we bring another receiver up/in (I'm unsure about who is on the PS these days) tomorrow or not. My guess is that one of Thompkins/Dobson should be able to go and that we'll be okay. Otherwise, we should hope that we have Ridley to go again on Sunday. The Browns aren't great, but they are just as much of a viable competitor as Houston and many other teams we've faced; especially if Campbell is playing on Sunday instead of Weeden. We tend to have some problems and limitations on defense/scheme with those scrambling QB's who are able to move around.

I'm assuming that you are speaking of Dobson being key for the playoffs and not Boyce, LOL.

"Homecoming queen hold my ****"

3 victories over the pretenders that were...and all within a calendar year to boot!

Even better, just look at the points that were put up against Wade Phillips and that supposedly "great" Texans defense in the 3 wins.

looks like he landed square on his left buttcheek, unable to break his fall.

Yeah, looks like a pretty standard definition of a hip injury to me, although I suppose it could even be his tailbone--but the hip seems like the best guess.
