Brady injured knee

Tebow fans' voodoo curse,,,

The key is making the playoffs.

Once you get into the tournament, anything can happen - - just ask the 2001 Pats, the 2012 Ravens or the 2011 Giants.

The problem with 2008 was that there was at least one other AFC East team capable of winning 11 games.

That's not the situation this year.

Just get to the tournament and hopefully Brady is better by then.

.....and make us go 11-5 with no running game.

No playoffs that year.....

Give me a break.

The Pats have a far better OL and running game than in 2008 and Mallett is a better prepared QB than Cassel was then.

Who in the AFC East is anywhere as good as they were in 2008? Nobody. With or without Brady, the Pats at least win the division in a cakewalk.

The hard part would be the playoffs.

Those three teams had capable quarterbacks. Most Super Bowl winning teams do. If Brady went down, the Patriots would not. But your last sentence indicates that you agree anyway.

He does wear a brace which should go a long way in preventing or at least limiting structural damage.

He wasn't wearing the brace for whatever reason.

If this is a significant injury, this will go down as the most cursed year in Patriots' history. Granted it may already be with the whole Hernandez mess.

He probably only wears it in games. He does have a no contact jersey on.

Read the 3rd and 4th sentences in my post again s-l-o-w-l-y.

"The problem with 2008 was that there was at least one other AFC East team capable of winning 11 games.

Ryan Mallet is no Eli Manning and this defense is no 2001 ravens...Brady better be ok. Hopefully this is just extreme caution. Let's face it, if they have trouble winning this division they have zero shot at a title. Kinda baffles me some people would rather see a divisional opponent lose when they are playing a team such as Denver or Houston who will challenge us for homefield. But, that's another topic of discussion.

Well, practice is over, I'm sure the coaches and players will fill us in on all the details and why Brady didn't finish practice. ;)

Exactly.

Win the cakewalk AFC East and pray Brady and Gronkowksi are healthy by January.

Wow, might want to calm down a bit hombre. Let's hold off before we learn there was an amputation.

If it was anything serious, there is no way at all he would have gone off the field with no limp (as some Tweets point out), he wouldn't have been allowed back in 1 play later to attempt 3 more passes and finally, the trainer/Doctor wouldn't have come back out if it was a matter of concern.

Probably a "stinger" on his shin but better safe than sorry getting him out of there for the day and possibly Friday too.

Adrian Clayborn asked 3 separate times about the Brady injury play. "Is this an interview or an interrogation?"

The last 2 SB champs had a combined 1 playoff home game (Wild Card Ravens v. Colts).

Meanwhile, 3 of the past 4 years have seen the Pats season end in a HOME playoff game.

Just get into the tournament and pray Brady and Gronk are ready to go.

hopefully its just a big dirty bruise on the shin and the 2008 comparison conversation doesn't need to happen..
I'm gonna worry about my QB. not on pointless conversations.

Obvious overreaction is obvious. By tomorrow we'll forget this even happened.

If the Pats do lose Brady and manage to go 11-5, I don't think there is much of a chance of history repeating itself and the Pats miss the playoffs. I don't think there are going to be more than three teams in this division to get 11 wins with Brady in the line up come the first game. No way will both Wild Card teams have 11 wins or more. And it is unlikely that the Dolphins, Jets, or Bills could get 11 wins.
