The I Played in High School Game

Most guys who say they played in High School NEVER did. Those that did play in High School have moved on and don't have to tell everyone how good they were.If You were any good We all would have known!

I played semi-touch football with my friends at lunch time at high school. Does that count? :D It was semi touch in that the blocking and pass rushing were full contact. I am therefore qualified to diagnose Offensive Line play.

You are now qualified to touch people. Not me, but others.:rocker:

LMAO! I shall bear that in mind. Will you be a defence witness when I end up in court? :D

Coffee, no, you need to run laps and wind sprints, get those life long endorphins and other body chemistry feel goods flowing the natural way - nothing like the life long rush from a good High Scool practice! Or so I hear.

I played competetive sports when I was younger. I like to win. Everyone else responding to this post probably was always the last kids picked to play dodge ball, basketball, football, soccer, etc. You study stats and drink the kool-aid that Belichick supplies and crucify anyone that writes negative about the organization.

First, let me say I am glad you did not get so p.o'd that you left. Now, the best thing you can do is ignore the slams pointed your way. You gotta understand you brought most of them on yourself. Try not to be so confrontational. Pay attention to some of the more senior posters here. You will catch on soon enough. Have fun, thats the big thing. Dont take things so seriously. Its friggin cyberspace, after all.

Many of us played competitive sports when we were younger. For some that was longer ago than for others. And as another poster pointed out, most of us weren't that good. Or we would have gone on and played in college. But we played nonetheless, so your statement is not realistic. And as I pointed out in another post, many of us have some coaching experience too. Whether its for Pop Warner, High School, college, or the pro's, there is experience there, so when the x's and o's are discussed, pay attention.

As far as being negative about the organization goes, everyone's opinion is welcome. But to post negative things about the organization that are not based on the realities and facts of how this organization is run, or how their scheme is supposed to be played on the field as drawn up on the chalkboard, well, that will draw a lot of fire every time.

You like to impose a system and reality that is fed to you by the major media and exemplifies itself in teams like the Chargers. Both in the way they play the game and how they handle player personnel issues. That is why I asked in an early post to you if you were a disgruntled Red Sox fan. Sox fans typically have a similar mentality. "Throw the big money at the big name. Lots of offense. Its all about the one on one match-ups, etc." That is just throwing ones own belief system over the top of our team and trying to make it fit. It never will. And it will frustrate the living hell outta you until you realize that what the Pats do and how they do it is the opposite of that, and they are the most successful organization in the league since they started doing things this way. Then you pause, study how exactly they really do things, and learn. Then they're not so frustrating any more. In fact, you will start to relish the fact that they can do things the way they do.

Chill, you'll get it in time!:)

I know………. I know,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Oh I can’t wait………. I am qualified to be the guy that runs out on the field during timeouts with the water bottles. That way I would be able to get their autographs.............................:D

I watched Jack Bauer disarm a nuke, so............

Damnit, mine was going to be I've seen Jack Bauer shoot a man in the heart and cut his head off so as to go undercover with domestic terrorists, so.....

Agreed.....................

Not only did I play, I once scored 4 touchdowns in 1 game at Polk High.

I dont know anything about football, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I just heard a Britney Spears song on the radio, therefore I am stupid and a bad parent.

I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night, so that qualifies me to work in the government, eliminate the national debt and the IRS.
