What happened to the "don't rush to judgement" crowd?

Right here. What's your point? I still think everyone did rush to judgement.

Again - the debate wasn't between the 'I hope he is guilty' crowd and the 'I hope he is innocent' crowd.

It was between the 'Let's make judgments on partial/erroneous information' crowd and the 'we don't know anything concrete' crowd.

Not that you'll care, or remember but I also cast a suspicious eye towards reports that he wasn't going to get arrested. Because we ultimately didn't know **** until yesterday.

Either way, I hope you're as happy as your gauche little post suggests. Guessing the right answer despite having no concrete information must feel great.

Can someone fill me in on the Welker and Hernandez dispute?

I have seen a couple of comments from posters alluding to a disagreement but being thousands of miles away and not on this board everyday i havent read or heard anything at all?

AH was a rookie and asking help from Welker with a machine or something and Wes had responded something like "Figure it our yourself, rook" and AH pretty much went all gangsta on him - **** you up, you know who i am sort of BS

Hernandez asked Welker for help on a machine. Welker said 'Figure it out yourself, rookie.' Hernandez said "I'm gonna **** you up Wes."

Which, based on my time in organized sports, was nothing noteworthy. Teammates can be ****s to each other.

And Welker? I'm sure he was a little prick that could get under your skin.

Not sure if this is exact but it's what I remember from the story.

AHern had been a Patriot only a few weeks and was trying to get a video machine to work and he asked Wes for help. Wes told him he would figure it out and Hernandez told Wes "F you Wes. I'll F you up."

Apparently AH somehow pissed off Matt Light as well

Another man arrested in Hartford, CT. Could be an accomplish of the murder.

Second man held in Lloyd murder case | National Football Post

"Accomplish" to murder. ehhh haaa haaa Wazzat? Like the statue of limitations?
Plus, I've been holding off on this around this board but... with this whole Hernandez thing?

I TOLD YOU SO.

I told you in March that Hernandez had a disturbed psyche. The Super Bowl choke drop in the clutch final minute said it all to me. My dad saw it too. He turned to me and said,"Who's number 81?" I go,"Hernandez". He goes,"Hernandez huh? I want him off the team. Tell him to not bother reporting to training camp next spring. His inner demons prevented him from making that easy catch when The Patriots needed him most. He's out. Guy's got psychological problems from inner self hatred. Tghat's why he dropped that crucial pass with the whole world watching. He wouldn't let himself catch it."

I riled on the board for an entire Friday afternoon against Hernandez. I was pleasantly surprised at how cordial people were to me about it. I expected to get lambasted for throwing a Patriot under the bus. Thing was, people were open to what I was saying about what I saw deep inside him.
If only The Patriots had cut him after that unacceptable choke job in the Super Bowl. It was ABHORRENT.
It was Aaron Hernandez hating on Aaron Hernandez. Freud is turning over in his grave. How can people not see that obvious display of self defeatism?

Well, I sure did.

and I'll take this moment to gloat and tell you one last time...

I freaking TOLD you so.

Thank GOD we had YOU to predict that this was gonna happen.

Where was that Link, again??

Nah Grid. T'was ME who predicted it. Now go back to your sandbox. You should post in crayon font because it's what suits you best, you fricking child.

What happened to the "don't rush to judgement" crowd? Is Andy Johnson curled up in the fetal position now that the "speculation" handcuffs have been removed. Same crowd that defended Dennard right up until the guilty verdict.
If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, tastes like a duck....why can't the fan boys call it a DUCK. Instead, they blame the media , or in Dennard's case, the police. Has the brainwashing by the Mass Teachers Assoc been so thorough that automatic defense mechanisms kick in that must blame everyone but the guy that clearly was hiding a crime.

Voice of reason brother borg...the "don't rush to judgement" crowd should know that there is more to life than the N.E. Patriots. I am fan of the N.E. Patriots too but I would not come to the defense of a cold blooded killer because I believe that his absence would affect the N.E. Patriots Offense on the field. Some of the the "don't rush to judgement" crowd need to learn to put things in their peoper place and stop thinking out of their @sses!

Wow! This guy may be a friggin monster of epic proportions. If he did the murders in 2012 and shot the guy down in Flordia, I can see why he got so careless with this murder assuming he is guilty. He must have thought he could never get caught.

If he did all these things, I think all the puff pieces about his life under his father is bull crap. Someone with such careless disregard of human life doesn't magic go from good kid to mass murderer overnight. You are either born this way or bred this way over a course of a lifetime.

Today is the first day of the rest of Aaron Hernandez's life.......

Wonder what he's thinking.......if he's thinking
I don't think he's phased in the least.

BREAKING: According to law source Aaron Hernandez under investigation for possible connection to 2012 double murder in Boston

Can't get any worse that life without parole which is his current destiny. Never understood the whole "8 consecutive life sentence" nonsense.

It is more for the victims and the family than the criminal. It is to get them justice.

But convicting him in both murder cases will prevent him from getting out of jail if he wins an appeal on one of the cases down the road. Say he did both murders. He gets life in both cases. He appeals one and gets off on a technicality, he is still in jail for life on the other murder. So this is different than getting multiple life sentences on a single crime.

Thanks for the replies gentleman.

Many of the "Rush to judgment" crowd were the "laughed out of court" crowd before he was arrested. It's comedy gold they they're now pretending to be the "rush to judgment" crowd in hindsight when they were all defense lawyers before the arrest claiming flimsy evidence.

Does anyone know how the NFL suspensions work with this? Can Goodell give Hernandez a lifetime/year ban now or does he have to wait for the whole trial/verdict?
