Chad Jackson reportedly suffered an injury

99% of Patriot fans didn't see that. In fact, I cannot remember one person saying CJ was injured on this board until Wright explained to Remix why he was picking a WR in his mock draft.

That's because having your leg wrapped doesn't mean a serious injury. Reporters speculate on things like that all the time, they just don't write it.

"football players tear ACLs and play again three months later.
> He'd have to be really seriously injured to be declared out for 2007
> now."

That's what Tomase thought about missing the season with an ACL. Notice none of these writers speculated on an achilles injury, even though the story said either. Why is that? hmmmmm.

Could it be because they all saw the wrap and knew it could be anything from a bang to a stretch to a tear?

BTW, Tomase just emailed me again, saying how Reiss scooped him.

The only hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm going on Ray is you are being disigenious. Just a few posts ago, (despite the fact I told you numerous times) you again conviently tried to make like Wright made a definite statement.

He's missing the whole season, right?

So, you trying to convince me that Scott just "guessed" the scoop before everyone else. Uh huh. Scott didn't even talk about the scoop until Remix starting hounding him about why he was picking a WR in the 1st round. It is not like he even announced it on the board as a "big" announcement. He responded to Remix, and gave his reasoning.

OK. His knee was wrapped. Reiss , Tomase, Pires, Curran and anyone with a good view of the bench saw it.

I want a scoop for my draft web site. Do I write:

Patriots escape catastrophe, Chad Jackson has a very minor bang on his knee. He feels better already.

Or Jackson out, Pats need receivers draft plans changed star struck receiver blah blah.

Let me know the next time you read a story about a plane landing safely.

Hurricane does not hit Florida, no devastation news at 11. LOL:D

Thomase thought. Key word being thought. Someone told Scott about the "bad test results."

Ray, I think you are a nice guy. But I think you are being obstinate on this one.

and with that, I'm out. Good night. :)

Ray, 99% of Patriots fan didn't even know he was injured. And you're telling me, he guessed our back-up WR was injured on a ST play, and pull the "bad test results" of his @ss, and was right. If you believe that, I have got a bridge to sell you.

achilles or acl, an MRI? It would have been easy to say an MRI instead of being vague.

Probably miss the whole season? Tomase said you could be back in three months.

prob·a·bly
–adverb
in all likelihood; very likely: He will probably attend.

1. with considerable certainty; without much doubt; "He is probably out of the country"; "in all likelihood we are headed for war"

Words have meaning. He'll "probably" miss a whole off season and season with an ACL is just false.

It is not probable. It would only be possible given the expertise in treating this injury today if he had a horrible infection.

OK?

Well, I'm wasting time myself and I am being obstinate, but I believe in integrity of information.

I also realize were beating a dead horse and i do have a sense of humor, so we'll just have to agree to disagree.

It does sound like he got some info about an MRI. He sure got the information screwed up though.:D

If he just said he'd need a knee operation, he would have had a scoop.

This guy is the second comming of Hart Lee Dykes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Assuming Reiss is correct about the ACL tear, then Curran's report seems misleading.

Assuming Curran is correct about the severity of the injury, then Reiss' report seems misleading.

It can go both ways at this point. We won't know the truth for awhile.

As fans we can hope Curran's "guesswork" is right. But unfortunately, Reiss offers specific information about which Curran was unaware.

They could both be right...are their degrees of ACL injuries?

I give up. He's a bust because he has knees?

You guys kill me sometimes.

He is a bust because what has he brought to the table, 13 catches and 3 td's .. Not setting the world on fire, and what will he bring in 2007.. ACL's are no pulled hammy's .... He is going to be no use in 2007 period... I know Carson Palmer came back from much worse inj,but he is a little more polished and a different position than Hannging Chad...

I know what you mean.

That Harrison guy has been a bust too. He's been injured half the time he's been here.

Maybe you expected too much out of Rodney.....

Harrison would play with one leg if he could, he has heart, I have not seen heart from this rookie. I know things could change, and I could be wrong, but I need to see it first..
