I am fascinated by the responses from the detractors, the wild exaggerations and hyperbole , the statement above is a mad stretch but it proves that the people who hate him are more emotionally invested in hating him than his fans are in liking him.

He once completed two passes for an entire nfl game... it's almost impossible to achieve that level of suck.. He's a ninja of sh.tty QB'ing. Blindfold any normal nfl qb and have him just launch passes straight up and I have no doubt in my mind he'll still easily surpass 2 completions to his own team.

Let me throw it out there like this.. he couldn't overtake *mark sanchez* on the depth chart!!!

Signing Tebow absolutely affects the organisation if for perception alone. There's a reason other playoff contenders aren't interested in Tim Tebow. He's just not that good and the Patriots are resorting to gimmick signings for whatever the reason may be.


I most certainly isn't the end of the world and the signing of Tebow may not amount to anything, I simply don't like the signing because I don't see a positional fit for him. In regards to Deus, he doesn't respond to people who demonstrate the inadequacies of his positions.

Thats just it IMO, I don't think he will have a "position" either, but will play a role, a Joker to the offense if you will. It with out a doubt will be an experiment.

I wish I could list the pros and cons and carry on a rational discussion about the relative merits of signing this person but as far as I'm concerned he is the ONLY "player" in the NFL that, when the +'s and -"s are tallied, comes out 0 degrees Kelvin...absolute zero.

That's a myth, at the Jets forum 20 Tebow fans signed up and 40 guys that hated tebow signed up. You will have more haters than fans sign up here. This was also verified by gunails.


Also I was over at gang green today, they have people that are signing up to pretend to be Tebow fans and troll the boards here , so watch out for that because its coming. AGAIN proving that the haters are waaaay more emotinally invested than his fans.

Tebow is an upgrade at QB3. He's got more experience than Kafka, has won more regular season games as a starter than Kafka, has won more playoff games as a starter than Kafka and he can play more roles than Kafka.

That's why he's here. The reason there won't be a media circus is that there is not going to be a QB controversy here, plain and simple. No fans or columnists are going to be calling for the Pats to bench Brady for Tebow. That's what happened in Denver and NY where they didn't have a starter whose job was secure. That won't happen here.

It's a good move because Tebow will be able to help on special teams and Kafka wouldn't have been able to. This versatility allows us to keep 3 QBs. It's a good move. It is a value add at the bottom of the roster, that's it.

I am a Patriots fan...my whole life...I'm not emotionally invested in anything to do with the Chosen Turd or his "fans"...I just want NOTHING to do with him, his "fans" or any idiot trying to engage me in any discussion of this world class distraction . IMO, the Patriots did not need to make this move now, tomorrow or ever. I hope it's just a favor being done by Bill to rehabilitatre the Chosen Crud's image so that he can latch on somewhere else. That is my only hope...you want to carry on about Tebow on this Patriots board, do yourself a favor and put mE on your ignore list...I do NOT now nor did I EVER want to see this particular circus sideshow act anywhere near the Patriots organization.
