Seahawks corner Sherman mocks Brady on Twitter

His performance yesterday needs to be mocked mercilessly.

This is the standard to which we now hold Brady, I guess. The dude throws for 395 yards and two scores against the #1 defense in the league in one of the loudest and most hostile venues in all of sports. He throws one HORRIBLE interception, but the other comes on a tipped ball.

And for that, his performance should be "mocked mercilessly"?

Geez, the standard for this guy is off the charts.

that's one way of looking at it.......the other one could be that brady sucked to no end when it mattered most.

To be fair, it appears as though Brady was talking trash to them before the game and Brady had said before the game that he was looking forward to quieting the crowd.

Uh, wrong. He didn't talk trash to them before the game. He even said this is what he hopes the Patriots will do. Then he said it's one of the best parts of going on the road, winning and having your fans there at the end, or having the home fans boo.

He didn't say they were going to do that. Quit twisting his words.

As a Seahawk fan, I have to say I'm very disappointed with Sherman. Trash-talking and getting out in the spotlight is not the Seahawks way. It's one thing if Brady tweeted stuff before the game (does he even use Twitter?). It's another when they are jawing at each other during the game (every player does this...it's all good), and then one player calls out the other in public after the game. What's said in the heat of battle should remain on the battlefield, IMO. Airing the laundry after the game is childish.

Seattle fans are seriously out of their minds. But I can understand, the newspaper guy Kelley wrote an article that was just embarrassing in analysis--not that we don't have Massarrotti.

Good. I want Brady pi...er, ticked for the Jets. Hell, I want him mad for the rest of the season. Serves him right if he trashed talked. What, is he Phillip Rivers now?

That ain't the Patriot way. Let your play do the talking.

325 yards and 32 for 47 in 3 qtrs, with 2 tds.

He had a bad 4th qtr.

That's about it.

He did?

I saw him drive the team down to Seattle's 7 from deep in their territory in the 4th qtr.

Sucked to no end is driving your team downfield by passing?

Then the Patriots ran twice and on 3rd down, ball was tipped in the safety's arms.

Another series ended with 3 straight Ridley runs for 3 yards AFTER Brady drove them for several first downs.

Stat wise Brady played great. But from what my eyeballs saw Sunday, Brady was playing like straight up nothing but trash since the very end of the second quarter. He was missing open receivers high and low. The weather may have affected his shoulder or McDaniels stupid playcalling may have affected his play, it definitely affected the lack of scoring in the redzone that's for sure. I would be tripping out of my mind to say Brady wasn't killing the offense yesterday. Hopefully the shoulder is better against the Jets.

If Brady was gonna trash talk he should've stepped up his game. Not get all cute and ****y because he was winning at the time, he should've known the secondary was gonna blow the game sooner or later.

A. Brady didn't trash talk. You've bought the story of the Seahawks Twit for some reason.

B. Brady had a good third quarter. He drove downfield on long drives twice. So to say he sucked after the second is not true.

B.

only more fuel for us to win the superbowl :verycool:

Sadly, there's no amount of fuel that can get our secondary to play better.

Gotta love those twitter badasses. Maybe Brady will tweet Sherman on his whereabouts during his HOF induction.

If Brady did indeed talk trash before the game (not sure if this even happened... read something about silencing the home crowd... nothing more), then it comes with the territory that he will hear about it after the loss.

However, taking it from the field to Twitter is rather puerile, IMO. And then to lash out at Pats fans, calling them "idiots" for stooping to his level just made his callowness even more manifest for all to see.

Waste of space from a db who won't be remembered in 4 years-unlike Brady who already has a spot in Canton--But hey congrats on that big win yesterday

Maybe Sherman should aim some of that trash talk and twitter badassery towards his division opponents, whom they are 0-2 against. They are not as good as everyone thinks they are and should be a 3-3 team just like the Pats, if it werent for the replacement refs handing them a win on one of the worst calls in NFL history.

Actually, this serves Brady right.

He "asked" him to look for him at the end of the game, assuming they would win this game and looked pretty dumb when they had 6 trips to the redzone and scored once.

Can't get mad at the DB, Brady asked him to do it, he only did what Brady said. Too many homers here that are so biased towards anything that happens. Geez.

"He told me and earl to see him after the game when they win..... I found him after...."

the funny thing about this whole incident is that Brady lit up their D for 395 passing yards. I could see if it was the QB Wilson who said **** because that win was completely his to own. The D should go twitter thank you's to the rookie QB Wilson for bailing their ***es out.
