LT still saying the same thing today

If BB does rip Hobbes, you'll never know about it. That how the Pats operate.

Of COURSE they rip the Chargers in the privacy of their locker room. It's called MOTIVATION...

I think BB knows what he is doing when it comes to the big games. LDT talking about how Marty does it is just weak.

Jeezus...is that what they're *****ing about now......that god forbid a coach say negative things about the opponent behind closed doors? What the *#$ is going on with this league/world? Every coach in the history of football has used that kind of speech for MOTIVATION..........Of course in public they aren't going to come out and trash the other team....unless your Marty Dumba## who came out last week talking about why the Patriots wouldn't win the game.........IN the press.......unreal....what a bunch of ****ies

The steroid-taking idiot did his sack dance after a play in which he hit Brady but didn't even get a sack. In some leagues I've played in, Captain Needle would get shot for this sort of nonsense.

So what would have happened to Hobbs for mocking the other team on their field after a brutal loss in your league? His family would be shot too?

Anyone who disagrees is a naive and immature troll.

^^^Classic! I may need to make this a sig.

And this isn't the first example of behavior by the Pats that has been perceived as classless which is why you see all this press about it.

...The 13-2 Chargers have had their share of off field problems, any where from Steve Foley being shot by an off- duty police officer to a practice player getting arrested for DUI. Little is mentioned that recently they were under investigation by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) for sending large sums of money to China. The reason for this investigation was the belief that players were involved in a steroid-smuggling ring. Shortly after this investigation, Shawn Merriman was recently suspended 4 games by the NFL for violating the leagues steroid-abuse policy. Now the DEA believes the money is being used for knockoff athletic shoes that could be passed off and sold as name-brand merchandise in this country. Because of this belief, the case has since been turned over to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, which has jurisdiction over such investigations.

Safety Terrence Kiel of the Chargers was arrested by DEA agents at the team's practice facility in September on charges of transporting and possessing a controlled substance. Kiel admitted to shipping at least two parcels of prescription cough syrup to Texas. While Kiel did not tell the DEA his motive, the agency in Texas has found widespread abuse of codeine-based cough syrup mixed with soft drinks or drugs and referred to as "lean," which can cost between $200 and $325 on the street.

Chargers' Phillips arrested in scuffle with police

San Diego Chargers backup linebacker Shaun Phillips was arrested after he scuffled with a patrol officer, police said.

Phillips saw significant action in 2005 and made three starts in place of injured linebacker Steve Foley. He was second on the team last season with seven sacks.

San Diego Charger arrested for suspected drunken driving

By: North County Times

SAN DIEGO -- Cornerback Cletis Gordon of the San Diego Chargers' football team was arrested early today in San Diego on suspicion of drunken driving, authorities said.

Gordon, a 23-year-old cornerback, becomes one of almost half a dozen of the team's players who have been arrested this year on various charges in separate incidents.

Monica Munoz, San Diego police spokeswoman, said Gordon was taken into custody about 2:15 a.m. at Sixth Avenue and J Street in the Gaslamp Quarter area.

He was booked into the San Diego Central Jail and released before noon.

Gordon, who attended Jackson State, didn't play early in the season because of a wrist injury, but he has played since then, said Bill Johnston, Chargers' spokesman.

"There won't be any change in his status," Johnston said.

Not everyone, but you've fit the bill nicely.

I was one of the Chargers fans who was congratulating the Pats for the win just minutes after the game was over in the "Chargers fans congratulate the Pats" thread. People said "wow, that's classy I don't know if I as a Pats fan could do that so soon after a game like this." I was told I wasn't a troll like other Chargers fans. I responded that everyone who disagrees with Pats fans is called a troll by someone here.

Well, you have proven that hasn't changed.

Not at all. What's making you seem like a troll is your refusal to acknowledge behavior on the part of San Diego which explains the allegedly 'classless' behavior of the Patriots, and the claim that it's classless in the first place. Again, 'Roid boy celebrated a NON-sack with his sack dance. *****ing about some Patriots throwing that dance back in his face in a post game celebration makes you no better than that ass-clown Merriman.

Again, a NON-sack....

Sack dances have been an NFL tradition for decades. Seau does them too and he's on your team. But I already said in an earlier post I don't like sack dances, even those done by Merriman. I wish he wouldn't do them.

And no, Merriman's sack dance is not an excuse to mock the entire team on their field after a brutal loss like that. That was garbage.

The appropriate response would be to mock the Merriman sack dance after a Pats player gets a sack. That way you offend Merriman which is fine.

Yet you keep complaining, on multiple threads, about a player or two (believed to be one) who tossed it back into his face. If you don't like it being done, why should you have a problem with it being thrown back in his face?

PFT nailed it on the head, I loved the LT baby face pic.

And it seems after watching the usual ESPN evening lineup that most of the people are against what LT is saying. Mike Ditka and Eric Allen can be all over his balls as much as they want but LT is a little prick.

LETS JUST SAY THIS: Thankyou, LT you little piece of **** for trying to overshadow one of the best wins during the Patriots dynasty with your constant whining and *****ing. You wont be able to take away my joy at our victory but you are simply a little ******** and need to shut your mouth. Merriman is a punk. He talked about punching Brady in the face. He did his gay little dance just because he hit Brady yesterday, ONCE. I wish Ellis Hobbs walked up and did it right in LT's face. They tried to victamize Hobbs all game, throwing deep at him with big recievers and such and he I thought he did a pretty good job and therefore he has reason to be excited and reason to mock Shawne Merriman.

So **** YOU LT!!!! It was a good year for you but unfortunately you are not super man and even you, the great LT cant single handedly beat the Patriots. The rest of your team sucks, and we saw it on Sunday!

PS: I thought Hobbs had a good game but Eric Allen seemed to be discrediting Hobbs an awfull lot on NFL live.

Nonsense. The time to make the point is when the game is over. You still don't get it. You don't up the ante during the game. You let the results talk for you during the game, and THEN you make the point.

I have no problem tossing it back at Merriman during a game - such as imitating his sack dance after a Pats sack. But once the game is over you don't humiliate the entire team at the 50 yard line on their field. That's taking it one step further. Merriman doesn't do a dance after a win.

Plus, and maybe most importantly, the magnitude of the game deserves more respect than that.

No. When a hard fought game is over of this magnitude all the scrappy on-field stuff should be put aside and you go shake the other guys hand because they gave you a hell of a battle.

stop with the troll crap. just because sanvara doesn't agree with you doesn't make him a troll. if anything, "anyone who disagrees with me is a naive and immature troll" is more trollish behavior than anything he has said.

Everyone knows that isn't true since the NFL tests everyone. And this isn't the first example of behavior by the Pats that has been perceived as classless which is why you see all this press about it.

You're just a troll loser at this point. Name another incident.

The Chargers are Cincy West, and I'm not the only one that made this point. Shootouts with cops, contraband, drugs, steroids. Criminals galore. And Merriman leading chants of Brady Sucks, not to mention Wade Phillips talking trash to Patriots fans after the game last year.

The Chargers are CLASSLESS and CRIMINALS.

Plus, and maybe most importantly, the magnitude of the game deserves more respect than that.

Yet individual players do not deserve more respect than to have some roided up mongrul gyrating all over the field?
