Of course he didn't. Then again, that doesn't mean Shell can't play it off like that.

ML Carr was trying very hard to build a winning team (he signed Dominique Wilkins to a huge deal), he was just terrible at it, and after being quiet for a couple years while people forgot what really happenned he has spent the rest of his life saying he intentioanlly tanked games as part of a plan.

I think Al Davis will trade up for that QB from LSU. Apparently he is projected by some to be better than Brady Quinn or Troy Smith.
