This may have been true up until a few minutes ago. Plenty of room and a bit of cap space cleared up now with Crumpler, Warren, TBC, Stroud, Kazcur, and Carter released.

Now it's looking a little bit more likely. We knew TBC, Stroud, and Kaczur were going. No surprise there. Warren is the shocker though.

Doubtful. I don't think we have cap space after the cuts, people dug deeper in the other thread and realized we didn't actually save a whole lot this season. If his first year was a very light compared to later years it could possibly work but I don't see this happening. I'd still rather a good OLB or DE.

It seems like everytime I think BB is drafting an OLB, he drafts a CB. Maybe the same principle is at work in free agency?

Not to mention it just looks Belichick like with the "mystery" team in the hunt and a load of players just been cut. You can't have enough good CB's either afterall

I just read that recent cuts shaved about 10mm off the cap, and who knows maybe they can restructure a few contracts. I am not saying its likely, but if they really want him I think they can pull it off.

Just think of what this would do to the Jets. It would totally deflate them and possible affect them for a long time. Again highly unlikey, but it sure would be sweet
