Woody spent time on the Patriots during the "camera" days, so he's essentially bagging on himself. :bricks:

you just pulled those words right off of my mouth

Get this over already

Just wait til deion sanders hears this. He'll be rolling on the floor for hours.

I thought O-Linemen were the smart ones. Pretty lame, and more than 24 hours late. It's like he spent all night thinking about a comeback and that was the best he could muster.

Also, invoking and bringing up "spygate" just before a game with the Pats isn't the best idea. Just ask the Chargers.

I heard through the grapevines that Mangold hired an entire team to help him prep for that "witty" retort via twitter. This team to be exact:

YouTube - The Simpsons - Burns' Campaign Team

The Patriots don't kneed to say anything more.

Mangold just tweeted:

"Wes Welker is a great player. He's really taken advantage of watching film. If we don't keep a Spy on him, he could really open the Gate"

Very sad

i find it funny...much better than Cromartie being an ass

It is Rosey. He's fun to follow as he gets excited and starts tweeting like crazy!

We should have a sticky that lists all the Pats & former Pats twitter addresses.

Missing the point boys:

Mangold wasn't trying to be funny.

He's telling the Pats that Welker's little comedy routine attacking Rex and his wife hasn't gone unnoticed by the Jet's locker room.

In perhaps the lamest way possible.

And tell me how Welker attacked his wife again? Does she have the foot fetish or Rex? I admit that I didn't pay enough attention. Perhaps you, as a Jets fan, can shed some light on that. Oh, but facts. Those god damn facts. They get in the way of so much, especially in New Jersey.

Maybe Welker wasn't saying anything at all. He didn't seem like he was joking. Did you see him laugh or giggle about it? :confused2:

Either way, Welker outclassed em.

:ugh:For crying out loud. Now the entire Jets 'foot'ball team is going to personally defend Rex Ryans' wife's honor on the field now? This whole thing is really dragging to new lows.

Er... excuse me, but WHAT honor does she have left, perchance? :D

It always does the Jets, doesn't it?

Jest's fans will think this lame joke is the greatest thing, they arent too bright.

Sweet! The only thing I was concerned about were Welker's comments. They are not Patriot-like, and I felt he was sinking to their level. Glad to see the Jets can never let another team take the low road.

Also, pretty stupid considering that Welker was never even involved with the Patriots during the "Spygate" days. I'm sure he is really upset about this.

I hope we hear Welker Respond something like this

"Well that's high praise coming from one of the best offensive linemen not just on the Jets but in the NFL. The Guy is like a wall, even when he's standing on the sideline, nothing moves him. I just need to be careful and make sure that I don't get tripped up by these compliments which I think is what Coach Ryan and the Jets planned on but thankfully I've got Tom and Coach Belichick giving me all the guidance I kneed so hopefully that shouldn't be a problem."

Maybe throw in a few more kneed/tripping references but you get the picture.
