Even the jets message board conceded that they had no chance whatsoever to win this game. But just when you thought the JEts TOTALLY screwed it up...they go and REDEEM themselves! Jets are playing pretty good! Sanchez is playing good and not costing them the game. Play calling is much better.

I disagree with Simms and Nantz. I loved Ryan's clock management there. He could have called a time out and possibly gotten into field goal range and gone into halftime up 13-10, but he conserved that extra time out and will now have four in the second half. People will never understand the subtile genius of the history of clock managers for the Jets like Ryan and Herm Edwards. They are like three steps ahead of us all.

The coaches suck too, but Sanchez looked utterly lost. He looked like he might try to spike it, then maybe call a time-out, then kept looking over to the sideline, then finally ran a play. A spike or time-out or run a play would have been fine so long as he wasn't so indecisive about it.

And the JEST have now gone ELEVEN quarters without an offensive TD. :singing:

The Jets haven't scored an offensive TD in like 12 quarters. I wouldn't say the Jets are playing all that well. Their defense is playing well at least at times. Their offense.... Well, it doesn't suck as bad as it did last week.

Jets fans thought they'd get blown out. And that is clearly not the case!

Do you want SD to get in ahead of our old Jets? At least we beat the jets. sd, yes, I know pats beat them too, but they're tougher now, I believe.

The Steelers' offense has been horrible in recent weeks. They are without Heath Miller who would pick apart the Jets' biggest weakness. The reason they are not getting blown out is because the Steelers don't have an offense to blow out anyone right now.

I have to say, in the grand scheme of things, given the choice between rooting for the JEST, the Squealers, and the San Diego SuperClassers, I feel least dirty rooting for Team Asteroid.

I have to say, in the grand scheme of things, given the choice between rooting for the JEST, the Squealers, and the San Diego SuperClassers, I feel least dirty rooting for Team Asteroid.

I am confident that the Pats can beat any of those teams in January in Foxboro. Therefore, I am rooting for a total collapse for the Jets and a missing of the playoffs. I am not rooting for any of them to win. I am rooting for the Jets to lose.

Well, the defense has done its job thus far holding the Jets' offense to three. The Steelers' offense is just not capable of capitalizing on that and scoring a lot of points. Although they seem to be getting into a groove now.

i expect to score a TD in this half somehow. the steelers corners are suspect so watch sanchez throw it up there. For all their reputation the steelers blitz hasnt really caused sanchez much issue
