Field Conditions & Weather @ Chicago

It's game day and you don't know the differences of Soldier Field and Gillette yet? Wow, you are lucky that I will do your homework for you. Gillette has a field that is like playing on a putting green. Soldier Field has a field that comes up in clumps, gives away and does not provide good footing, and is like playing in 3 inches of mud.

Im pretty sure they installed the new turf similar to what we have.

Gillette was just like that prior to them installing turf and Brady played fine...

It doesn't matter if the Patsies have been told to take "small, choppy steps" as previously mentioned by a New England poster. Until the Patriots play in full game speed against Peppers and Co. it does not matter what they have been told...

Now, now, CuriousGeorge. The Pats have not been called the 'Patsies' since the Bears won their only Super Bowl. Has it been 25 years already? How time does fly.

Cutler publicly whines about his own field conditions and does worse at home record-wise. Are you sure the Bears want to play there?

Cutler has a stronger arm than Brady. He has experience playing in Soldier Field and Brady does not. lol. Whatever lets you sleep at night. :itsok:

On second thought Im thinking of another field I remember Chicago does have that awful sod like we used to have every Nov/Dec.

Brady isn't half the QB Peyton Manning is.

Brady is better than Manning. Both are significantly better than Cutler.

Oh, why do I even bother with the trolls. You're not even amusing.

Whatever lets you sleep at night. Everyone outside of Beantown knows Manning is the best QB ever save for Joe Montana. And no coach-qb duo is better than Walsh/Montana.

Why don't you ask Cutler how hungover his is today?

Supposedly the Chicago Parks district recently re-sodded Soldier Field.

Is this some Chicago way of coping with the result of the 2006 season? Sure Manning beat the Bears in the big game, and Manning is of course grateful to the Bears for his only ring, but you don't need to show him love today for it.

Blame that result on Rex Grossman and Lovie for refusing to pull the now second-stringer for the Redskins with a 70 career QB rating.

Actually, this is false. Many people have said that Brady is the Best since Montana and that Manning is just this generation's Marino.

As for the best Coach/Q combo, only time will tell..
