This should be an interesting game this week.

Yes, Foxborough is no Palm Beach and the Patriots are used to the cold, but it looks like we got some wind for tomorrow and that field makes me nervous for route runners.

It would be awesome to see the running game come alive to prove this team can win this way on the road in a hostile environment against a quality team.

I would think we are going to see a grinding lower scoring game, but you never know this year...:).

Anybody know if the team is in fact there yet?

Giants are stuck in KC cause the airport in Minn is closed.

These conditons feed right into Tom Brady's hands. It's easier playing offense, especially the short passing game, in bad weather (I hope there is 6 inches of snow on the ground) because the defenders are forced into sudden moves to react to what the offense is doing. QB's who are touch passers will struggle in this type of wind and weather. A QB who throws 100 mph frozen ropes will be just fine on a cold windy day in Chicago. Hopefully the Bears have a mindset that the Pats will run all day long and that's their focus.
Boy are they in for a shock.

There will be 8 inches falling tomorrow. Wind gusts of up to 55 mph and weather steadily dropping throughout the day.

Chicago has one of the best Run D's in the NFL. And the last time I checked, the Patriots didn't have Adrian Peterson who was OWNED by the Bears earlier this year.

Should be an interesting game.I still feel that the bears OL is very suspect.

Don't you just LOVE drunken exaggerated ramblings? I don't see the field conditions being much of a factor tomorrow.

Latest update from wgn.com. This is the best place to go for weather updates in Chicago, a lot more accurate the the weather channel or other site:

    Sunday
    Snow
    HI
    24°
    LO
    -1°
Winter storm. Arctic cold with temperatures falling into the teens, subzero wind chills and heavy lake-effect snow driven by northwest winds gusting to 50 mph.

Many Bear fans feel the same way. I see BB scheming to confuse the hell out of Webb, Bear RT. He has had some problems this year. While he has improved, he is still a fish.

Bears vs Patriots. Both teams know how to play in the snow cold. This ain't like it the Chargers or Dolphins heading to Greenbay in December.

I've seen a lot of discussion about the wind on Sunday. Can one of the Chicago posters talk about the wind paterns in Soldier Field? Thanks.

The Pats have played in snow before. It's not like it's an isolated thing. As for the wind gusts. You must know something that the weather forecasters don't because the most I've seen predicted is gusts of 45 MPH. That doesn't mean sustained.. That means the occasional gust..

Now, as for the Pats offense. Brady's played in cold, snowy weather before. So have Branch, Welker, Hernandez, and Gronkowski. Short passes won't be an issue.

One thing that you've FAILED to mention is that the weather actually works against the crowd noise.. The cold and wet don't tend to get too excited.. OH, btw, I'd leave the pineapples and vodka at home.. The security at Soldier's Field will be looking for them.. Have a nice day...

I am stoked if there is going to be snow for tomorrows game. I don't know what it is about snow but it just makes the game more exciting. Probably because it changes team's game plans and strategies. We also have Tom Brady.
