You're making it sound like Brady has taken over running the team, which isn't the case at all. If a QB and WR have reached a point where they just can't work together anymore, then it's probably not a bad idea to jettison one of them. And they sure as heck weren't going to jettison Brady.I wrote this week that this signals a return to the Patriot Way. Do you think that #12 has enough juice to play GM on the field? Can he make sure Moss, Maroney, and as one other poster reminded us, Galloway are out? Scary to me that the QB can get guys fired, even if he's the Chosen One.
I have no doubt that Brady has a great deal of input regarding the offense, including personnel, packages, schemes, etc. And that's really the way it should be.
