Casserly: Brady and Moss had confrontation

I wrote this week that this signals a return to the Patriot Way. Do you think that #12 has enough juice to play GM on the field? Can he make sure Moss, Maroney, and as one other poster reminded us, Galloway are out? Scary to me that the QB can get guys fired, even if he's the Chosen One.
You're making it sound like Brady has taken over running the team, which isn't the case at all. If a QB and WR have reached a point where they just can't work together anymore, then it's probably not a bad idea to jettison one of them. And they sure as heck weren't going to jettison Brady.

I have no doubt that Brady has a great deal of input regarding the offense, including personnel, packages, schemes, etc. And that's really the way it should be.

Sounds like a guy calling his ex-girlfriend:

"Hey baby... yeah, it's me... I miss you. I really do. What's that? Yeah I got a new partner but I'm thinking of you, baby. My time with you was so much more special... I want you back...."

Hilarious. Lips of an Angel:
Well, my girl's in the next room
Sometimes I wish she was you
I guess we never really moved on

It's really good to hear your voice saying my name
It sounds so sweet
Coming from the lips of an angel
Hearing those words it makes me weak

Brady calling Branch in wee hours, while Gisele sleeps. wow

If this is true, it would definitely change my perspective on the trade a bit. Still wouldn't like the compensation we got, but the more this stuff leaks out, the more the trade just seems like the best of a crap situation.

Moss was right about the hair, though.

I don't think he's running the team. My question was "does Brady have this much juice?" I don't find it coincedental that Maroney never saw the field again. My thought is BB pulled the trigger, Brady signed off.

Folks its ok, some people on here just will not acknowledge facts or reports that they dont want to here. Even when confronted with facts they use semantics. To those posters...everyone sees through you making you opinions on par with a 5 year old who only hears what they want to hear.

I'm so tired of hearing all of these 40,000 different rumors being spread about why Moss was traded.

Moss had a confrontation with Bill.

Moss had a confrontation with O'Brien.

Moss had a confrontation with Brady.

Moss was a problem in the locker room.

Moss wanted to be traded even though he said he wanted to stay here.

Blah, blah, blah. So which one is it? I know we need a reason to make Moss the bad guy so we can feel better about him being gone but pick a reason and stick to it. :lol2:

Doesn't have to be just one, BB is the only one who denied he caused issues with him personally, he never denied the rest of the claims if i remember correctly.

We may never know, fact is he's gone and not coming back so we can only really move on and see what we look like when we face the Ravens. :p

I don't think he needs to be a a bad guy at all. He was great while he was here. If he was Manny Jr. behind the scenes, we never heard about it while he was here. He put up big numbers, he was a lot of fun to watch, and now he's gone. We've got nothing else until next week.

It is what it is.

Breaking news: Moss punched Robert Kraft in the face and that was the real reason he was traded.

I can envision it like this....
Randy: " Tom, you aren't throwing it to me enough. I need a big year for my next contract. You got yours, it's my turn now."
Tom:" Get out of here,, go shave your beard"
Randy: " Shave my beard? Go get a haircut"

Likely (possibly?) it was a throwaway line that Randy probably took seriously....

No, I don't think Belichick was lying when he said that Tom's a player and he doesn't make personnel decisions. At the same time BB has said that players (Brady, Moss) HAVE "helped" him with personnel decisions.

Like any good manager, I'm sure Belichick gets opinions and ideas from many members of his "team". I don't think any of them has a ton of weight, but I can definitely see Brady's opinion possibly tipping the scale one way or the other on a tough decision.

Wake up Teenuh, Clearly, after all those reasons being thrown about all week, we all know the real cause was.............GroomingGate.;)

Can you imagine if the receiver formerly known as 81 tried this stuff with Seymour, Bruschi, Willie Mac, Vrabel, and Harrison in that locker room? In every level of football you need physically imposing leaders to keep the specialists in check.

yeah...that was PRE-SPYGATE...and the league never did anything at THAT point...Casserly did NOT break Spygate....now unless YOU can produce the "unnamed source" from the NY Daily News, I'm going to lay this dog to rest. THat is unless you have some reason to be a Charlie Casserly apologist, like you're his kid or something.
Casserly said the Patriots were known to/talked about recording coaches. Then Camera Gate happened. That's my point. It was PRE-SPYGATE and Casserly was right. Damn, some people just don't get it.

To quote BB:

Who's been wrong more often than Charlie Casserly?

One thing he was completely wrong on - last year he said the league was definitely going to put a team in London.

"Tried this stuff"? It's not unheard of for 2 adults to have an argument.

I have to wonder if it's intentional at this point. Casserly was the first one to break the news of Spygate to the national viewing audience. He was correct on that. He was spot on about Brady's injuries last year even though Belichick vehemently denied it and went personal about the matter. His track record speaks for itself.

If this is true Brady is truly a ***.

Telling him to shave his beard? You ******* kidding me? Moss was right too, he does look like a ******* girl.

You are nothing but a pathetic little clown.

Because clearly your explanation, that the local and national media suddenly decided to become Patriots apologists complicit in Belichick's agenda, makes way more sense.
