They've been adding some talent probably due to it's availability and the need to match up against competition in the ratings. Pete is harmless but also talentless. As they get away from comic relief sidekick it's no surprise he would be gone. Meter should be next.
Glen is blaming the economy, but that's just because he's been on his politics bent for the last couple of days. He has Perillo and McAdam on but he is insisting everyone wants to talk politics today. Pete apparently lost his job because of Obama or Bush depending on who you blame the economy on...and not 98.5.
Actually, this is pretty funny listening. McAdam is an above average foil for Glen's bs bully pulpit, Perillo is apparently curled up in the corner trying to avoid collateral damage...

Glen says WEEI has been hit by the economy. The company is going to outsource the flashes as they do with their other shows. Glen is now lauding his unique character adding to the growth of the program and hopefully if the economy comes back things will change...
Of course if Glen really wanted to he could do what Sean Payton did in NO....
