- Matt Cassel. He did everything the Patriots asked him to do--make plays when appropriate, and not turn the ball over. He wasn't Brady of 2007, but he was definitely Brady of 2001, and I won't ask for more.
- Brandon Meriweather. Comes down with his first INT, and sets up the Pats for a score.
- Adalius Thomas. I don't care how he performed the rest of the game: Thomas' sack was the single most impressive sack I have seen since Vrabel tried for a safety against Donovan McNabb in the Super Bowl. :rocker:
- Stephen Gostkowski. He absolutely murdered the ball on the kickoffs: I could almost hear him saying "Return this, RATS!" [And a bonus shout-out to Raymond Ventrone, the Human Bullet, for stopping the JEST at the 20 the one time they dared to run it out.]
- A special ball to the entire team. Zero turnovers, and a grand total of 10 penalty yards. Couldn't ask for much more.
