In promoting his Plan, Warren is redefining the mission of the church. His idea is that we are to wipe out world problems and make the world a better place to live in before Christ returns. His program screams of Dominionist Theology which teaches that Christ can't return until the Church takes over the earth. And his billion man army reminds me of another two other “army” movements in the name of Jesus: The Army of Joel and the Manifest Sons of God who promote the false teaching in which they think the Lord has given them a mandate to take over the earth for Jesus so that he can return.

This crap belongs in the holy roller forum ... I'm not reading 1 page of that idiot's thoughts ... let alone 47 of them. I'd just as soon print them and use them for butt wipe. If Jesus existed he could take over the earth with a wave of the hand. He already allows killing of women and children ,,, he doesn't need any help ... he's doing just fine in his own sadistic kind of way.

Mods - the reason why I put this in the Political Forum here is b/c this particular agenda works hand-in-hand with Obama's(and previously Bush's) agendas...with the only difference being that Warren is infiltrating CHURCHES to help promote all this dirty work.

I like a good conspiracy Tuna as much as anyone. I think Obama has some socialist in him, some elitist in him and he can be arrogant. But I don't believe he has an agenda to ruin the country his daughters will be growing up in ... not intentionally anyways. Every President in my lifetime had conspiracy agendas written about them. The Clinton's had over 100 people murdered you know - I even posted it way back when. It's intriguing to read but it's just fantasy and it makes for fun reading.

One could argue that Christianity is predisposed to fascism insofar as the religion requires that all adhere to their version of faith or burn forever in hellish fire. That kind of theology doesn't lend itself to plurality all that much, does it?

Read the Beattitudes(Jesus' sermon on the mount) in Matthew 5:3-12, FWIW, this describes Christianity very well(although Obama tried to mock it).

Anyhow - this wasn't meant to be a religious discussion - it's not only Warren, but alot of our other so-called "influential evangelicals" like Billy Graham, Pat Robertson, Jim Wallis, Sarah Palin, Rick Joyner, Bill Hybels, Rinehard Bunkey(sp), the late Jerry Falwell, Tim LaHaye, Jerry Jenkins, Ted Haggard(before he got caught that is), et al are part of this Dominionist group as well.

Dominionism theology is pretty much COMMUNISM(except they do things differently to get to their goals of Communism) - it IS political, only difference being that these FAKE Christians mentioned above are infiltrating churches so they could get this One World Government implemented. Their part is to get this world "cleaned up" so that their 'Messiah' can come back. Even Robertson talked about a One World Government with a 'Messiah' ruling in the 3rd Temple in Israel in his book "New World Order".

As you can see, they're no different from our ruling elite like Obama, the Bush family, Henry Kissinger, Brizinski, Jimmy Carter, the Rockefeller/Rothchild families, etc.

You gotta dsimiss any who believes they have straight-line knowledge into God's plans immediately...that's just a sign of an unstable mind.

Men are not to be worshipped or followed blindly. Yet history shows people are so gullible, they will actually follow another simple hunman being as if he is more than he appears.

Rick Warren is not a special man. I think his nick-name should be "Rick-roll" due to the number of people he has fooled.

Pastor, huh?...interesting. I don't recall having a pastor on this board.

To your point...The problem you bring up belongs to all religions, I believe. Those who claim to be religious, closer to "god" than others, etc...reveal themselves to be liars and snake oil salesmen. That has always been the problem with religions for me. It has led me to the place I am today which is devoid of all belief in mysticism and the supernatural. In a way, I suppose I should thank the liar priests, bishops, nuns and popes who steered me (and millions of others) to this place so quickly.
