I wanted Stovall last year, but i didn't think they'd actually pick him. Jason Hill just seems like a Patriots receiver to me, and kind of reminds me of Branch, but with a better nose for the endzone. Really, Hill's who I wanted at WR, and I made four different Mocks were some of my other picks changed, but I always had NE taking him. They threw a curb ball at my by trading away that pick for Welker. I'm happy about it though, since I was all over Welker during the 2006 season. Just watching that guy made you think of him in a Patriots uniform. What makes you LOL is that he was thinking the same thing (he's wanted to play for NE for awhile).

You never know.

I dont expect the Patriots to stay at 28 i expect maybe a trade into next year or a trade for picks next year and extra picks this year. So we could pick up a 2nd rounder and maybe grab him if hes available still.

Nothings impossible anymore.

Hell we might draft Stanton just because it would be different./sarcasm

All things being equal - meaning several players are rated very close on our board, then why not pick to fill need??

We need (in no particular order):

ILB
DB's
Back up nose
OLB
L/Tackle
WR

The beauty of the Free agents we have signed is we now have true Draft Day flexibility......you just KNOW that SP/BB are licking their chops awaiting the last weekend in April.
