In his blog, Reiss speculates that in Welker's absence the Pats'll be asking Edelmen to step up and fill that role. I disagree: before we got Welker, Faulk, who's no slouch split out into the slot, used to play that sort of role for the Pats, and I think in crunch time, BB will want to lean on the trusty vet, instead of the kid.
