5 of the next 68 selections isn't too shabby.
After Kinlaw didn't slide and Chaisson went to Jacksonville I was almost sure a trade down was happening. We could still trade down again but I think BB makes a pick here (Kmet or Epenesa). Or at least it's 60/40 he does

I wish I was as optimistic as you are. By the time BB stops finagling, he will parlay
those five picks into two picks and lesser or next year's picks. Other years the Patriots
have had a strong roster going into the draft. This year they have numerous holes to
fill and upgrade.
 
I am honestly hoping for Eason at this point. Not for any football reason. Just for the sheer comedy of having an Eason at QB for the Patriots again.
 
Given how many holes they have to fill....I hope they use every pick.

That would be great competition at QB in trading camp Hurts versus Stidham
