The situations are not exactly parallel, and we know that Peyton can trump any coaches decision. We also know that Peyton does not ride motorcycles.

Will the '08 Colts be like the '06 Steelers because the coach doesn't care.

I don't think the '06 Steelers fell on their face because their coach was the only guy that didn't care. The entire team did not care. Big Ben spent more time in the offseason cleaning windshields with his face than being with his team as well. That didn't help.

If Colts doesn't make it this year, Dungy wants to retire. Of course, he will be with the team if the owner begs him to stay. If a private jet is not enough, he wants owner's mansion for his family. Dungy used this trick all the time and everybody in Colts loves it because it worked in the last 5 years.
