Why no turnovers on D?

Barmore's absence hurts the pass rush. But given that the woman revealed he's still on blood thinners in the police video, gives us the clue that he's not returning anytime soon. In fact, I'd tell him to just take the year off and start training for 2025 as soon as he gets the green light from the Doctors. We don't want him coming back out of shape like Aiyuk and suffer an unrelated injury.

Need a game changing edge rusher.

Need team speed! This has been an issue for many.....many years. They need a speed guy to complement Bentley. Tavai is badly getting exposed as the main guy at LB.

Need a real FS. Mapu has atrocious awareness and looks like Madden AI. Bro was running back in coverage after he saw the QB hand off the ball to the RB. There are other plays where he's lead footed diagnosing plays. Fans and media really want this guy to be good for whatever reason, but he's going to disappoint.

Besides obvious ballhawks in the secondary, turnovers come from above average lb play which we are not getting. Guys like Collins and Ninkovich consistently got their hands on passes or played their zone effectively enough to make the qb hold the ball longer etc. Our linebackers are not a threat to qbs, with their slow closing speed etc. There is a good chance they wouldn't get an int if you threw it directly at them. Losing Bentley exposed how poor are linebackers actually are. They are garbage at the run now too.

Their defense isn't good. It's performed well statistically the last few years but anyone actually watching games could see that it was held together very loosely. The talent level on that side isn't good and it showed every time they played the better offenses. They were obviously being held together by good discipline and schemes/gameplans. And as much as anyone wants to gripe about BB, I don't think even his harshest critics could have thought there wouldn't be drop off in those areas with his departure.

It's not surprising to me that they're struggling with the coaching downturn and reduced personnel because of injuries. They have practically as much work to do on defense as they do on offense.

Not competitive. Mr. Kraft, spend your $$ and draft talent. Period…. No pass rush, too many penalties again at key times. Team is tough to watch. We’re back to 1970

more like 1990

Noone expected defense to be this bad... Reality strikes in unexpected quarters.

Defense might end up killing Mayo's coaching career. Not sure how he can survive the abomination of this season.

Our free safeties also don’t know how to catch the ball when it’s throw right at them, in their hands….

Didn't the Jags run like 18 times in a row on us from the Third Quarter onward?? Unheard of in Todays NFL are we in the Pros or Highschool??

Judging by the fan takes it’s definitely high school.
