Why no sacks for us?

Aw jeebus, you're so very right. Ever since we lost one game to the Doofles, I've thought just exactly the very same thing.

But you know, one little thing that is a tad confusing and what I just don't know how to explain is that the only team that had more sacks than us last year was the Giants.

Fail.

I agree with you,
But it's REALLY easy to get pressure on a QB when they are down 35 points and you know they are going to pass all 2nd,3rd,and 4th quarters...

Thank you. The pats do indeed put pressure, it just takes a little longer to get there than a full blitzing team like the giants or eagles.

When the eagles blitz fails to get the QB, the opposing offense can light them up, ie, the cowboys. If they do get to the QB fast enough, then see the steelers game.

I
The Pats get to the quarterback a second after the receiver has

caught the ball.

Don't worry, Richard Seymour is now healthy, and already is averaging 3 tackles, 0 forced fumbles, and .3 sacks a game, so the numbers will rack up quickly. And if they don't, there will be plenty here that say he's not asked to get stats, plus he's quadruple teamed on every play.

hard to get a sack when the other team is running the ball

Charlotte. The panthers were on her and the biggie game opposite was
CHIEFS @ FALCONS.
I watch 15 mins of this and got sick.
Too bad - of course the Panthers were on Fox here too but when I looked at NFL TV map (web site) it looked like most of the East coast had the Pats and Miami on CBS. But believe me, you didn't miss much.

I definitely agree that our pass rush has been a problem. i thought adalius would have a great year, and maybe he will, but so far, our pass rush looks blah again

With one arm tied behind his back, blind folded and two magnets taped to his knees! Besides Seymour looked great 4 years ago! Just this year I saw him dominate a rookie a few times!

Several times Seymour was being held if he threatened the QB or threatened to stop a good running play. I don't believe the officials called it once.
