The last couple years we have made a trade during our bye week. Bill likes to get players who are heading into free agency. They play hard & we get a comp pick if they sign with another team.

Depending on Lewis's status, Andre Ellington might not be a bad target.
He is not getting much playing time for a team heading in the wrong direction.

Any other suggestions?

I assume Joe thomas or some other lineman

Thinking of BB's former first round bust reclamation projects (Mingo, McClellin, Cooper, Donald Brown), how about DJ Hayden?

Some WRs that we had pre-draft contact with in 2013 are interesting should we get an injury:

Kendall Wright
Marcus Wheaton
Kenny Stills

Pryor WR CLE, doubt it though since Gordon is a done deal there.

Derek Wolfe and Von Miller for a 3rd and a 5th next year, both agreed to "team friendly" deals.

I've got the perfect candidate:

Akeem Spence

Position: DT

6-1, 307lb (185cm, 139kg)

Team: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

He might as well start apartment hunting in Foxborough now.

JJ Watt doubt texans care about an injury prone Watt at this point

last year the patriots' bye week was week 4. there's less time this year for a bye-week trade--the patriots last game before the bye week is on 10/30. the trade deadline this year is 11/1.

How about joe haden if the browns choose to trade him. Can he fit under the cap? Maybe a pass rusher. Brian orapko from the titans.

ya.....cuz we need more guys to sit on the bench with our other 2 most recent acquisitions (Mingo and Rowe)

It will depend on the injury situation and where the team has holes. My guess is pass rusher if Mingo doesn't work out.

Vincent Jackson or Larry Fitzgerald? Just to not miss the annual deep threat WR speculation.

Adam Seward, pro bowl linebacker.

Fitzgerald would be awesome although we are loaded at WR. Can't make a strong case for him with Edelman, Amendola, Hogan and Mitchell in the mix.
