Who Will Be Cut

FWIW BB didn't sign Kitchen earlier in the season when he was available then as well.

you mean, BB didn't sign Kitchen earlier in the season, when Easley had not yet gone to IR?

Eric Martin
Hankerson
Kitchen
Waddle

Which are eligible for the PS after they pass waivers?

Or will Belichick surprise us with someone else?
Doubt the Pats would cut Hankerson, Kitchen or Waddle. They were picked up to go directly onto the active roster, believe any of them could have been signed onto the PS if that's where the team wanted them and they're eligible. Don't think Kitchen has PS eligibility anyway, not sure about the others.

I get this hunch that Kitchen is a major space-eater type.

But, what's a kitchen to a mountain?

I am getting the impression that Siliga has fallen out of favor in a big way. He has been inactive in 2 of the past 3 games and now Kitchen who seems like the same type of player.

Well Martin was the guy but in general I would add Darius Fleming to the always at risk list.

Kitchen could not have been put on the active roster as he had already played in 30 something games..
I also don't believe that Hankerson has any PS eligibility either.

Eric Martin was waived/injured with a concussion. That means he's done for the year, at least with the Pats.. It also explains the Kevin Snyder signing..

More running, low scoring late season. also, Hicks is a good pressure/penetrator. Sheard will play with both DEs a lot in pass rush.

IMO, Siliga was a nice hustle guy when we had no one. Don't think he was ever as good as some posters thought. We simply have better players in Branch and Hicks and Malcom.

I like Siliga but you're likely right, his ceiling no even close to Brown or Hicks and Branch is just a better player. I think having Siliga as our 5th DT speaks to how much talent we have there.

Good catch, thanks.

I'd forgotten about Fleming. If both Hightower and Freeney are healthy, he'll be gone; but that's a big if at this point.

Sadly, the Steven Jackson signing could be a blow to Iosefa remaning on the roster.

Eric Martin is a gonner.

Martin is already gone. We need to cut another to add Jackson. My guess is that a LB will be put on IR. Of course, if Hightower is OK, and Freeney will be back soon, the odd man out could be Fleming.

I said this in the Jackson thread I don't think he gets cut because I believe that he will not clear waivers to get back to practice squad.

...and for how long?

All it takes is an <won't type that word in here> and they're right back.

Yes. He is. He was waived/Injured on Saturday to make room for Iosefa. So he's done for the year.
Candidates include Hankerson, Kitchen, Waddle, Iosefa, Cleveland, Siliga, imho.

I'm behind on all these transactions....
